"What?" You responded.
"You forgot didn't you? You weren't supposed to. You said you'd remember!" She yelled. As she did she grew older. She looked to be seventeen now. Her face still blurry.
Suddenly there was chaos everywhere. People were screaming. There was smoke and dust everywhere. Something was falling but you couldn't remember what. The girl looked at you. The blur wasn't as bad as it was before.
"Don't forget me, okay?" She said. Her face cleared up. Her features were clear now. She had black eyes. In the sunlight they looked violet. She had long back hair that shaped her face. She had a few freckles. She had a thin nose. Her eyebrows were nicely shaped. She had glasses on.
She was smiling.
Then black. It was black for a minute before you realized what was in front of you. There was a big piece of rubble in front where the girl was standing.
"Violet? Violet?" You whispered. You felt tears come down. Her hand was the only thing visible from under the rubbed.
You shot up from your bed. Tears flowing from your eyes. You remembered now. Violet was your best friend until your second year of high school. She died that day.
You forgot about her. You cried even more knowing you forgot her. Memories flooding your mind. You grew up with her. You spent your days having play dates with her. You went to middle school together.
You put your knees close to your chest and hugged them. You cried into them. You were 17 when that happened. You forgot about her, just like you did everybody else.
You were on your way to work now. Your job was a café in the day time and a lounge at night.
You met your boss out front and they proposed an offer.
"You're off today but you come at night. You won't work in the mornings anymore but at night. You work throughout the night and I'll raise your pay. 25 dollars an hour." She proposed.
It was a pretty popular place at night. It was always short staffed seeing as how no one wanted to work when they could be sleeping.
"I'll take it. I'll see you tonight." You said before walking.
"You start at 9!" She yelled. You walked all the way to the mall. As you made your way through you looked for your classmates. As you continued walking you saw Midoriya and another person next to him.
The person had his arm around him. Then you saw his body tense up as the person moved his arm. You ran over to him.
"Hey Midoriya!" You said as you ran up from behind. You put your arm around the hidden figure next to him.
"Who's your new friend? I'm y/n, nice to meet you." You said. You noticed where the hand was.
The hooded man faced you and his eyes widened at the sight. Midoriya's eyes also widened when he saw who the man was.
"Tomura shigaraki." Midoriya said. He looked terrified. You kept a smile on your face not wanting to draw attention.
"Take that look off your face. Calm down. All I want is to have a conversation. A friendly chat. With you too 'y/n'." He said.
He grabbed your hand. Carefully not use all 5 fingers. You knew Midoriya was terrified. He had encountered the man before but so have you.
He was only a kid at the time but he still remembered.
"Now don't try anything. I'll kill you guys then everyone else here. Don't play hero. They're all smiling because they think the law will protect them. I can easily change that. " He said.
