 I sat in my bed wrapped in my blanket working on my school work that was e-mailed to me. My phone when off beside me. I looked at the screen to see its Kat.

Why weren't you not at school today, you sick

 Kinda, Public speaking in class. Jake is going to do it and bring my work home don’t worry ‘bout it

 Jake, what are you talking about I’ve always bring your work home. :(

 

To: Kitty-Kat

 I...um Jake and I are dating now and I really like him. Sorry Kitty I want to see him today .

 

From: Kitty-Kat

One don’t kitty me I told you he’s bad news…I know I can’t control you,but I better not see him hurt you if I do I will rip his throat out. Two how do I miss all that I didn’t talk to you for what 12 hours.

 

To: Kitty-Kat

He won’t Kat I know it. Thank you, see you later

by the time I put my phone down to start working again I got a new text. I looked over to see its Jake

 

From: Jake xox

I’ll be over in a few babe

 

To: Jake xox

Ok see you soon

I set my phone on my side table and continued to read the article in front of me. My english teched is making us read an article on female turtles and how they use the earth's magnetic force to find they place they hatched, to lay their eggs. I finished the article and submitted the test we had to do when I heard a knock at my door, and saw Jake’s head peek in.

“Hi” He said opening the door and slid in my room

“Hello, perfect timing I just got done.” I said smiling

“Grate, but you're not done” he said handing me science papers

"He said because you wern't there to help present you have to do some worksheets to prove you understand.” Jake said sitting next to me on my bed

“Thats the thing, I don't I don’t get any of it” I groan out putting my head on his shoulder

“I know, I’m going to help you” he sighed out wrapping his arms around me.

“thank you” I say picking up the sheets leaning into him

“no problem babe” he said pulling me closer to him

we worked for about two hours and we both got frustrated with each other

“Its not that hard to understand” he yelled

“it is to me” I fumed back

“Three points how is that complicated!”

“thats not the problem I get that” I said quieting down the louder he got

“then what is it takes very few brain cells” He growled hitting his head

“I’m sorry” I say shrinking back from him flinching slightly. He saw my action and quieted down, he sat next to me raking a hand through his hair.

“sorry” he said hugging me “I have some stuff going on at home, and I’m new to this relationship thing, and helping with homework, and your dad hates me thats bad for many reasons.” He started to ramble on hugging me closer the more he talked, I couldn't help but smile. I giggled at him kissing him on the cheek.

“Just don’t yell at me again, you can always that to me Jake, ok” I say laying my cheek on him

“Ok love I will” he sighed putting his chin on my head

 “I’m bored, entertain me” I said sitting in his lap

 

“how will I do that”

 “Don’t know don’t care just do it” I whine at him

“thats not a nice way to ask” he chuckled at me kissing my head

“well--” I started before his phone rang. He looked at the screen and answered it. He lifted me off his lap and put me on my bed walking out of the room. After about 5 minutes he came back in kissing my head

“I have to go baby” He said picking up his stuff and slinging it over his shoulder

“Why do you always have to leave when we spend time together” I asked grabbing his hand. I know its only happened twice but thats all the time we've had together.

“I know, but I’ll see you later. ok” He said walking to the door

“Fine, bye” I said pouting and flinging the covers over my head\

-----------------Jacob’s PoV---------------

I through my stuff into the passenger seat and pulling out of Alex’s driveway to get to the pack house. There have been some rogues in my territory, I need to take care of it as next in line. I drove the short distance to the house and walked inside

“sorry to pull you away” River said teasingly

“yeah, yeah what are we going to do. They won’t leave our territory what do they want?” I question out loud to no one in particular.

“I’m not to sure, we go one but he killed himself before we could get anything out of him. But there working for someone.”  

“who would want to hire rogues to attack us, we really don't have much valuable power like other packs, the most we have is some rare books in our library.” I said sneering

“I don’t know theres not much special here, we have Max she’s pretty special. Strong with casting ruins and telepathic” River offered

“so shes closely guarded, also she would know if they were after her would she not”

“thats true”

“wait, why was she not there with the rogue” I questioned feeling a headache already starting

“one shes 12 she was at school two he mate would never allow it. Tyler is very protective”

“next time you see one try to capture them and keep them chained so he can’t kill himself and have max get it from him” I said as the phone rang

“hello” I sign out

“get here now Alexander” I heard John’s voice over the phone

“what did I do this time, I don’t have time for you to yell at me about Alex”

“well thats sounds fun but we have rogue problems much like you, but we have what they're after.” He said as I heard Matthew giving orders in the back

“What would that be” I sigh out watching River pace the length or the room

Hi guys, oooh a cliffhanger. heres chapter 17 yay! I edited my first 6 chpter so there's less spelling errors. I wonder what will happen with Alex, hmmm well see :)
