Percy's POV:

I honestly have no idea how I got here. I mean, first, I was watching Frank run around camp excitedly as he shot random potatoes with his bow and arrows. Then, I was in a pit shoveling a grave for a piece of lettuce that had fallen out of my sandwich while the Aphrodite cabin walked by. The Aphrodite cabin (except Piper) was incredibly protective of lettuce. They would make a little sparkly coffin every time a lettuce leaf fell, bury it in a hole, and read prayers for the lettuce so it could pass safely to its afterlife in 'The Great Garden'. Only Piper ate lettuce and every lunch you would hear "I can't believe you are eating lettuce every day, it's like you're doing it just for us!" Piper would mischievously wink at Annabeth and continue eating, munching very loudly.
So anyways, I was sitting, eating lunch when.....MY LETTUCE DROPPED!!!!!! Drew Tanka (UGH) saw, and instantly demanded that I pick it up, hand it to her, and start digging a grave in 'The Brave Lettuce Memorial' (also known as the 'Squished Salad Yard' when the Aphrodite cabin wasn't there). Drew returned holding a box that was wrapped in sparkly purple tissue paper and silver ribbons, which presumably held the lettuce. "I wrapped it all up for you, Pookie!" Annabeth glared at her and Drew shrunk back slightly, but her enthusiasm soon doubled when she saw I was almost done digging. Piper and I had gotten very close during the quest, and I was glad she was helping dig when Drew gave me the box. Drew walked up to me, leaned in, and was about to kiss me when Piper held up a rock that conveniently had two lip-like things on it, and put it where my face used to be. Drew started to make out with the rock which was pretty, no, REALLY funny to watch.
Drew finally came up for air only to see about half the camp laughing at her. She turned back to 'me' only to see I was a rock. "Percyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!" she cried, running away. I know we might have been a bit harsh, but, oh well! I buried the box, Malcolm read the prayers and we left.
Yep, just your ordinary lettuce burial.

A/N Hope you like it!
