"Yes"
"How long?"
Steve shrugs
"Long as it takes"
"Well, he's better there than here. They have the advanced stuff. Bruce and I can't even get a single thing out of him without worrying about damaging him more. We don't have the right things" I admit
The soldier smiles
"I appreciate it"
I blush
"So, you said if I was available Friday?" He asks
"Oh yeah. I set up something in the backyard"
I lead Cap to the back where a picnic is
"I got some fast food earlier. Hope that's alright" I shake
We sit down on the blanket that's covering the grass. I hand Rogers his food and drink and take out mine. I take a bite of my burger

"You know, I only tried to help him for your sake. Despite him killing my parents, I know how much he means to you" I confess
