𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 17

a loud bang echoed throughout the cabin as levi desperately rushed around the living room, moving around furniture and lifting up lamps and pots to see the growing piles of dust and dirt beginning to form all around the living room

his eyes and fingers appeared twitchy as the obsession to find every filthy corner only grew more as the time went past

the crew watched him, as they all sat down their eyes followed him concerningly

"is he okay?" elizabeth heard tiago whisper cautiously to molly

Adelheid shot elizabeth a strange look as levi began to order for them all to get up from the couch so he could examine the underparts of the cushion

the captain tried to stop him in his tracks as she laid a hand on his shoulder reassuringly

"levi are you doing okay?" she asked softly

his eyes reached up back to hers, it was only then she really took on the bewildered look he had plastered on his face, almost as though the dirt and filth was causing his nerves to flare up like a fever

"WE NEED TO CLEAN THIS SPACE, ITS CRAWLING WITH DUST AND I CANT-"

levi couldn't finish his sentence before his breath became short with anxiety

Gaston and Klaus snickered at him, trying to contain their giggles behind their hands as they teasingly punched each other to shut up

elizabeths face scrunched up in disgust, it sometimes caught her off guard just how cruel gastons influence could be, how could those two stand there and laugh at levi, caring and quiet levi

"you two... if i hear another laugh come from your direction, so help me god i'll feed your heads to the titans" she hissed, speaking quietly, but loud enough for them to hear her demeaning tone

her body spun around to face levi, who was fidgeting anxiously with a piece of loose wool coming out from around his uniform

"ignore them, ill clean up this place with you!" she beamed, reaching out for his arm as she soothingly tried to calm him down by using her touch

the whole crew eventually left the room in order to give the duo space to set up for the whole sweep of the living room, elizabeth wrapped aprons around both her and levis body, as well as giving them both rubber gloves and cleaning equipment

whilst she was rummaging around the old closet, elizabeth found a dingy old CD player along with a couple discs

"jesus christ" she whispered to herself peering down at the jackpot she had found, the girl hadn't seen one of those since she was a very young girl, CD players were only for the rich, only to be ever seen inside of wall Sina, where nobles and royalty lived

as she went back into the room with the treasure placed firmly in her hands, she gazed in amazement to see how levi had already begun sweeping away, he was persistent and quick, almost leaving her with no chores to do

she placed down the CD Player on a cleaned stool, sliding in the disc which had a beautiful expensive looking girl on it, with tight black curls and cherry red lips

it began to play a slow paced romantic sort of tune, the type you would imagine to play during the olden days, the type which queens and kings would dance along to in a shiny ball room

levis eyes peered at elizabeth dancing alone with a broomstick in her hands, the captains feet paced around from side to side slowly, she bent her head back slightly to the side, trying to resemble one of those princesses in the stories she red growing up

"what are you doing" he asked, his hands still brushing away the last remaining dust particles on a lamp

"im dancing" she giggled back

the song slowly morphed into a faster pace as elizabeth ditched the broomstick to walk over to levi

she stretched out her hands to grab his

"dance with me" she proposed gleefully

levi chuckled back nervously "i dont know how to dance" he protested, as if that was a good enough excuse for elizabeth

"well your in luck! ill teach you, and this song is just perfect" she said grinning back to him, her eyes gazing into his sweetly

levi blushed ridiculously by this gesture

"fine" he huffed out, elizabeth darted for his finger tips as she locked them into his,

she positioned both his hands onto the curves of her waist, as her own raised up to fold around his neck

they both stumbled around awkwardly at first, trying to find their rhythm to the song, but as their hands got more comfortable with the touch of each others bodies, the duo began to gracefully dance along to the hypnotising romantic song which played soothingly in the background

upstage the two could only concentrate on each other, the crooks of their smiles, the jolliness in their laughs. their surroundings turned into an irrelevant factor, and time itself had seemed to stop for the two dancing love birds

elizabeths heart felt full with happiness as she looked back into levis bright face, she noticed how much younger he looked whilst smiling, his eyes seemed to be opened more wider as well, his jaw seemed to be unclenched for the first time,

just pure bliss painting on his face

her body felt so overwhelmed with love and care for the ackerman that she pulled him in tighter to lay her head on his shoulders, she had never done something like that before, or even seen it in a book

yet it just felt like something she should do, and it felt right.. so right

levis eyes looked down onto the girl which's head laid peacefully rested on his shoulder blade, every aspect of her face was for him to gaze at, he had never realised she had light brown freckles which covered the top parts of her cheek, or how her eyelashes were a dark brown colour unlike the hair on her head, which shined beautifully under the afternoon sun

elizabeth looked up, her lips centimetres away from his

"yes?.." she asked

"your so beautiful" he whispered out of breath

elizabeths eyes widened, her lips smiled even wider than before, so much more that she felt her cheeks begin to ache from the force

from the side of her eye, elizabeth could make out the figures of gaston and klaus looking in on them, slowly dancing together like two teens in a ballroom

but she didn't care, she couldn't care less about them anymore

because she had him in front of her

"i could dance with you all night" she grinned in response
