before she could blink, the figure of levi swept over rapidly to the sides of both men, moving with such speed that it felt as though elizabeths naked eye alone could not keep up

his two hands flew behind each one of their heads, seizing a clump of their hair as he brought their faces down into the hard concrete floor, taking their heads in turns for smashing them into his knees, a trickle of their blood poured down levis ankles

he didn't stop there

as he let go of the weakened clumps of hair, both men's knees gave way to them collapsing onto the ground, their faces unrecognisable from levis cruel smashing, he placed his left foot onto the one that had spoken to elizabeth earlier

"don't you dare ever talk to elizabeth that way" he hissed, as he twisted his foot deeper and deeper into the man stomach, his screams echoed throughout the town as a painful reminder of levis strength

suddenly.. something clicked in elizabeth's mind

she realised how the two men had known of her brother and father, who was a retired commander himself. the uniform the two men wore was unrecognisable at first, but now she could remember, she could remember the MP uniform

the MP's were an important branch, higher class citizens who worked under the king himself, however theese two men wore bright blue badges on the side of their chest.. signifying that they were of greater importance than just any ordinary MP

elizabeth sprinted up to levi, yanking his hand back, which pushed his foot of the stomach of the MP

"we're getting klaus right now and leaving" she said sharply back at levi

his confused face was clear, he had just honoured her yet here she was acting as though he had done something wrong

his facial expressions frowned in disapproval

however elizabeth didn't have time to worry about what levi thought of her, she had to get him as far away as possible, levi was a new scout, a nobody from the undergrounds, her mind ran with horrific ideas with what they would do to him

she had to, no.. she needed to protect him, from people like them, humans who abused their position of power, humans who would do whatever it took to get revenge on the ones below them who had bruised their pride and ego

at this point, with levis wrist secured tightly in her hands, she had ran inside the grocery store to find klaus standing calmly with the groceries in one hand

"everything alright elizabeth?" he asked politely at the sight of her blotched cheeks

"klaus please we need to leave now, i dont have time to explain but there are two elite MP's outside right now with a growing grudge against levi"

levi looked unamused, he wasn't at all scared of the two weakling men, he didn't comprehend what an "elite MP", he didn't comprehend the situation at hand

klaus's face looked pale, his lips pressed tightly together as he nodded in approval

as klaus and elizabeth jogged to where they had left the horses, levi was being forcefully dragged by elizabeths aggressive grip

"why the hell are we running away from those two weaklings, this is absurd" he protested, glaring at the back of elizabeths head

"look levi... i appreciate what you did for me back there, i appreciate it a lot. but those two men are some what important"

"so? important my ass they still whined like a couple of new-borns" he snickered proudly

"LISTEN, what im trying to get at is you don't understand, those two men might have been weak but do you realise the amount of power they have. MP's like those are sick bastards, and those bastards do the most fucked up things when they want revenge, and trust me they can get revenge. you wouldn't be the first scout to go missing after picking a fight with those assholes"

elizabeth felt a lump form in her throat from even thinking about it

"oh.. so you're worried about me" he said teasingly, a mischievous smile becoming apparent on his lips

the scout rolled her eyes at levis oblivious response

"positions.. jobs, they mean a lot out here, its not all black and white, so you better start realising that if you wanna stay here for any longer"
