*** Akali POV ***

We are performing tonight. We arrived early morning, though with the look on everyone's faces I don't think any of us have gotten sleep.

I didn't.

A few hours were spent getting our luggage and then meeting each other at our hotel. Dropping all of my bags in the room, I then grab my phone. Making a call to the hospital. Waiting a while... a tune plays.

Then finally picking up, I ask before they could speak, "Hello. Hi, umm I want to check up on one of your recent patients. (Y/N) (L/N)... he was in a car accident-"

The voice clears its throat interrupting me, "I am sorry but the doctor in charge of this specific patient is already on a call with someone else. Would you like to make an appointment?"

I shake my head, biting down on my lip, "Can you tell me how he is doing?"

"I am sorry, ma'am. I am not aware of the patient's current condition."

I then give a long sigh, "Thank you..." clicking off the phone, I ball my fists and then turn around just wanting to hit something. Digging my nails into my palms I then lower myself at the edge of the bed. Arching my back, I bite my lip.

"Akali..." Sera walks into the room.

I wipe my eyes with my arm, "Hey... sorry I am just-"

She sits down next to me, her arms around my shoulders, giving me a quick hug she pulls away, "He will be fine. Eve is on the phone with one of the doctors and she seems to be handling it well... he has to be fine then right?"

"Eve doesn't show her emotions easily," I say, then chuckling to myself, "He said he loves me..." I then feel the tears coming again, "What did I say? I said I'd tell him if he is here with us. What a fucking idiot I am..."

She grabs my hands, "You will get to say that to him one last time."

I turn to her, giving her a weak smile, "You think so?"

She nods, "Now come. Eve wants us all to meet her in her room."

I nod. She turns around, still keeping her gaze on me. I can see the worry in her stare, "Thank you, Sera... for trying," I force a smile, then walk with her to the room.

We are all here. Yasuo is standing near the window, staring out at the streets below. Ahri and Kai'Sa are seated close to each other on the bed. Sera sits down on one of the chairs, I stand near the door. Eve then finally enters the room, digging her phone in her pocket.

She doesn't wait before speaking, "I got off the phone with the doctors. He is fine as of now, nothing serious. Just everything you would expect from a car accident. Whiplash, shock, bruising. He is still resting but should be awake by tomorrow."

Yasuo then looks at her, "So. Are we all leaving after we are done tonight?"

We all gaze at him, some silent nods from us all, we came to have fun and hang out. To calm down after having to be so busy for such a long time... now he isn't here.

Ahri then speaks, "I want to."

Eve then adds, "I think we all want to. Though I don't wish to inconvenience the two of you," she turns to Yasuo and Sera, "How are the two of you feeling about it?"

Yasuo shrugs, "I don't mind. I can go either way... but you should all go back to meet him."

Sera nods, "I-I think we should be by his side."

I then growl, "And the bastard that caused the crash?"

Eve then looks at me, "Akali... we will deal with that when we know for certain he is fine. He ran a red-light according to the reports so he is in the wrong no matter what. All we have to listen to is excuses and then what comes after," she sighs, "We will deal with it then."

Ahri then looks at me, "We will be home soon. Okay?"

I cross my arms over my chest, fueling my anger has been helping me cope with my sadness, I give a sigh, "Let's just... get this over with."

It was unanimous. Without anything more to say, we either just roamed around or turned to our rooms. We are supposed to be setting up, but Ahri suggested we take our time to clean up our thoughts before we get back to it.

I leave with Sera to our room, she then asks, "Are you okay?"

I nod, "I am better knowing he will be fine..." the initial brunt of the incident for us has passed. We know he will be fine, but what will it do to his mental? I am overflowing with worry... I just want to see him.

The anger made it easier for my heart. As if that alone will just fix it. The fear of losing him... I don't want to feel this ever again.

If it were up to me... I would be by his side but Eve is right. He will only blame himself for us not being able to perform in Shanghai. For his sake... we should give it our all and make sure his work wasn't for nothing.

*** Kai'Sa POV ***

It hasn't been sitting right by me. The constant pain in my stomach and heart has made me feel lightheaded. It reminds me of the times we spent traveling as a child... making friends only to lose them.

I didn't want to lose him. None of us did, but today's news was enough. Enough to make me get rid of that fear.

Ahri then enters the dressing room, "Are you ready?"

Akali then enters the room after her, with a smile on her face, "We don't have long, let us do this for him."

I smile at them, "Yeah. I am ready."

I then back to get fully dressed for this show. My heart now at ease with them right here, wearing bright smiles. Ready to do what we came to do. I just wish he was here, maybe... he is watching us from the hospital.

And if you are, (Y/N). I hope you will be okay.
