It's the day after the big fight , no one is messing with us anymore , kyler and his boyfriends kinda vanished into oblivion. Everything is going so well.
I wake up take a shower , get dressed. When I left my apartment Robby was out side.
" hey " I say locking my door.
" I got to get to work " he says avoiding me.
" o..Kay umm cool I guess " I say confused.
" yes like you care " he says walking off. I don't know what's wrong with him and I kinda don't want to deal with it. When I got the dojo there where a lot of people there.
" hey what's going on " I say to Miguel as I look around.
" after the fight everyone wants to join cobra Kai " Miguel says excited almost.
" sensei is inside getting ready " Miguel adds.

" FIGHTING POSITIONS, Jab punch " sensei says as we all stand in the dojo. Some people punch.
" no until I say go , HIYAH " he adds. He corrected some people as we continued to punch , it was getting repetitive but it was either this or beat up Miguel and I just don't have the energy right now.
" hey lip , yea you the one with the freaky lip who else would I be talking to " sensei says to Eli.
" excuse me mr.Lawrence-" Demetri says
" SENSEI Lawrence " Aisha corrected.
" okay...you really shouldn't make fun of someone's physical appearance " he adds turning back towards sensei.
" oh is that's so, so I'm not supposed to mention his lip at all " sensei says.
" well yea " Demetri says.
" well maybe that's what they teach you at school , but in the real world you can't expect people to do what there supposed to do" sensei says. As much as I wanted to jump in and defend them like I usually do , sensei was right you can't rely on others to be nice all the time.
" alright you hear that lip , if you can't handle people making fun of you , how are you supposed to handle and elbow to the teeth" sensei says , Eli just nodded and looked down.
" by calling the..police " Demetri added once more.
" dude knock it off " Miguel says to him.
" yea foreal, chill " I added.
" what he does realize the natsis lost the war right , why should I be scared of him because he's got a snake on his wall , it's not like he's a teacher who can give us a bad grade, we're paying him he works for us , it's not like he can actually hurt us " Demetri says. Sensei goes quit and Miguel looks annoyed.
" I'm hungry " I say getting a hunny bun out of my bag. Sensei slowly walked towards Demetri as the people backed away.
" are you done , hit me " he says standing in front of Demetri.
" go ahead hit me , strike me right here " he adds pointing to his forehead. Demetri tries to hit him , sensei blocked it.
" harder " sensei says. Demetri tried again , sensei blocked.
" it that's all you got princess " sensei says. Demetri tried again , this time sensei flipped him.
" okay let that be a lesson to all of you " sensei says standing up and pointing at all of us.

" yea but you can't quit " Miguel says and me , him and demetri walk down the hall.
" I got yelled at , got my ass kicked and then gave him my money " Demetri says
" if I didn't know what we where talking about I would've thought you had a wayyy different job " I say stepping on the cracks in the hall way. They just look at me.
" anyways, he's not that bad of a guy , you gotta give him a chance , you don't know him like I do " Miguel says.
" whatever , I don't need to learn karate when I know you guys " Demetri says.
" yea but sometimes I don't feel like it , lazy people things " I say focused on stepping on the cracks.
" I'm hungry " I say finally looking up. They just smiled . The next day less people showed up to the dojo, we didn't really need them tho but the class was more full.
" okay everybody all in , where is everyone, crater face , nose ring , slingshot " sensei says coming out his office.
" they quit sensei " Miguel says quietly.
" are you serious..I mean good , that was a test , I wanted to see who the quitters are no you guys , your in it to win it , alright you could be a home playing your eye computers and video games..eating candy , instead your here , doing push-ups and learning how to fight " sensei says.
" how old is sensei " I say to Miguel. He just laughed.
" lip..look even lips tougher than those guys..he's no quitter " he say pointing at Eli making everyone look.
" could you please not call me that " he says speaking up.
" excuse me what " sensei says.
" I said could you please not call me that " he says speaking up a little more.
" um I'll warm them up sensei " Miguel says budding in.
" no no no no , lip has something he wants to say " sensei says.
" it's alright speak up lip or is your tongue messed up to..are you one of those challenged kids" he says getting closer towards him.
"The doctor said I could be on the spectrum " he says stuttering a little.
" I don't know what that is but get off of it pronto alright " sensei says
" if you don't want me to call you lip , don't have a weird lip , can't you get surgery for that " sensei adds
" I was born with a clef lip , This is the scare from the surgery " Eli said looking like he was gonna cry.
" you mean it was worse before that , or did the doctor just screw up , cause if this is the after photo then that sucks man you should sue " sensei says
" can we please change the topic " Eli says stuttering.
" you don't think I want to , it's tough when it's right in front of me , if you wanna be something other then a nerd with a scare on his lip then you go to flip the script , okay get a face tattoo or gouge your eye out , well call you patch , wait no don't do that you'll still look like a freak " sensei says backing up. Eli just ran off.
" oh great really another quitter " sensei says watching him run off.
" I'm gonna go Check on him " I say to Miguel as I run after him.
" hey you okay " I say as I walk through the door. He just looks down.
" okay listen to me , I love you but I can't tell you everything's gonna be okay, because it's not always gonna be and as much as I want it to be ,its not and I I can't watch you be sad anymore, I'm not saying change your self for other people and I love you just the way you are but maybe you should change for yourself or not either way I'll still be here "

The next day Eli didn't show up to school or to training I was kinda worried.
" hey have you heard from Eli " I say to Miguel as we get in our lines. He just shook his head no.
" since you joined cobra Kai I have been hard on you , I called you names , humiliated you , some of you I hit and for that , I will apologize...cobra Kai is about strength, if your not strong on the inside you can't be strong on the outside, and right now your all weak , and I know that because I was you , I used to have no friends , used to be the weirdo kid , not that weird I still hooked up with babes in all but the point is I wasn't always the bad ass sensei I am today , just like a cobra I had to get rid of my loser skin and learn true power and you guys will to " sensei says pacing around the front of the dojo. Then the door opened.
" welcome to cobra Kai " sensei says as we all look towards the door. But what we saw was shocking.
" Eli what happend " Miguel says
" I'm flipping the script " he says smiling
