It's the first day back at school, this summer was long and boring . My friends Eli and Demetri went to some lame computer camp because they're nerds , but only I can call them that. I roll out of bed as my alarm went off and started to get ready. My mom is never home anymore , I didn't care tho she always complained. The only person I hung out with was my neighbor Robby but he just started hanging out with some old guys so I just left him alone. I went to my bathroom , took a shower etc. then I went to my closet. I pretty much live alone in a small apartment in the valley but I have chips and Netflix so I'm good. My mom owns a corporation in New York , I don't pay attention enough to know what it does all I know is it brings in money. I could buy the whole town if I wanted to but that's to much work. And then the bus showed up. I could get any car I want and drive it but I'm too lazy. I get on the bus and we go to school. The school was your basic horrible high school, the popular kids , the nerds , the bullies and then there's me I coexist along the side. I went to my first class , it was boring social studies and my second class wasn't better but I fell asleep so. Finally it was lunch time , while walking through the cafeteria eyes where on me. I'm not complaining but this never happened before. Then I see demetri and Eli sitting down. " hiiiiiiiiii" I say running over there " how are y'all " I add as I sit down. " I'm fine computer camp was- " demetri starts but I interrupt " I was just being polite please , don't continue" I say smiling. Eli looked up an smiled. He didn't smile often but when he did it made me happy. " soo y'all still nerds or...." I say smiling. " the term nerds is incorrect we prefer-" demetri started. " yep still nerds " I add laughing a little. " hey is it cool if I sit here " a strange voice said which made me turn around. " ohh sorry tables booming right now " demetri says " I'm sorry since when " I say sipping my chocolate milk. The guy just looks down and starts to walk away. " sit " demetri says. " demetri this is Eli...he's a man a few words"demetri adds as he sits down. " Miguel " he says somewhat smiling. " I'm y/n " I turn and smile. He just smiled. Then yasmine , moon and Sam walked past which caught his attention. " dude don't torture yourself, those are the rich girls " demetri says looking as well " there also fake and ugly and crusty I could go on " I say eating my fries. " do y'all ever talk to them" he says turning back to the table. " why would we want to ,did you not get any of what I just said " I say looking at him confused. " yea and you realize what table your sitting at right " demetri adds " hey I sit here by choice , everyone else here is rude and fake I mean you see what happened to sam , got a little attention and left Aisha for the "popular girls"....dishonor upon her whole family " I say sipping my chocolate milk. " oh shit, yasmines looking at me she's probably making fun of me " Eli says looking up, which makes me turn around. " I don't think she's making fun of you " Miguel says reassuring him. " to not like us there always looking over here very much fan energy babes " I say playing with my milk. " I don't even care if yasmine is the meanest girl in school , I'll kill all of you just to have her spit in my face " demetri says staring at her. " ewwww " I say looking at him with disgust. " if you don't make a move , you'll never have a shot with her " Miguel says. " your so oblivious" I say putting my head on the table. " hey all this is true , but I'll never suffer a humiliating rejection , I'm at peace with me depression , last thing I need to be is suicidal " demetri says " and that's on mental illnesses " I say sitting up and smiling. Then Miguel gets up out of no where. " what are you doing " I say confused "Striking first" he says concentrated " what does that even mean " I say as he walks away " I hope we don't get hit with the shrapnel " demerit says looking back down. " well this could be a win or a complete disaster either way I'm bored " I say watching. He walks over there , but then Kyler and his friends sit down so he comes back. " see you later reah " Kyler says as Miguel sits down. " wait did he call you reah " I say trying not to laugh. He just looks at me " I'm sorry" I say faintly smiling as the bell rings. " bye guys " I add getting up and laughing I went to my next class and then we had dismissal. " heyyyyyyyyy" I say running towards demetri , Miguel and Eli. " hey y/n " demetri says upset. " what's wrong with him " I say walking with them. " kyler threw his book bag in the trash " Miguel says " ughhh....kyler want me to beat him up , I will " I say punching and kicking the air. " you can fight " Miguel says looking up. " yea my mom made me take karate for like 6 years because she didn't want me living alone defenseless..In reality all she had to do was stay " I say looking down. " anyways I'm about to go home and eat chicken nuggets bye y'all " I add looking back up and smiling. " bye y/n " Eli says as I run to my bus. I got home , normally I would check on Robby but his friends are over there I can smell the must and cheap cologne to cover it up . I just went into my apartment and watched tv , it was lonely but when your alone no one else can leave you. I just laid in my bed until I eventually fell asleep.
