Selena did NOT want this "last-minute quest" her mother gave her. She did NOT want to be transported into a new world with 'elflings and goblins' And she definitely did NOT want to become one as well. And yet...she finds all of them happening. Lost...
"Mhm, yup, totally, in a moment of death, I'll just walk in slow motion, spin my fidget spinner, and their all just going to cower at the coolness I possess,"

When Selena woke up, she was lying on the door of death. She was ready. She would be happy. She...
She...betrayed her camp.
How can that make me feel happy?
"Selena, dear," Her mother's voice echoed through the underworld, catching the attention of many, MANY spirits. Selena turned. "You aren't going there,"
Selena frowned. Really? This was how she saw other spirits enter. "Is this not how you enter death?" She asked.
"You're time isn't up yet, sweetie." Aphrodite ran her hands through Selena's hair, making her hair turn a more luxurious brown.
"But.." Selena faltered.
Aphrodite smiled, "Count it as...a last minute request. Then you can live peacefully with Mr.Beckendorf,"
The goddess snapped her fingers, and appeared, showering both of them in pink dust. Aphrodite ignored it. Selena tried to do the same. The goddess grinned at her daughter, "Can't have you going without gifts, now can I?"
The first gift Selena received was in a grey box with a silky silver bow. "This contains Athena's blessing,"
Selena carefully opened the box, and a rush of power went through her. Wow. The next box was pink and adorned with ribbons and bows everywhere.
Aphrodite passed her the box "This next box is from-"
"You, obviously. Pink is your color, and nobody else would have the sense to put on this many ribbons...and...woah. I said that?"
Aphrodite hid her smile. "Mhm, you did. And correct, it contains my complete blessing."
The next box was black and had purple designs that seemed to glow.
"Hecate," They both said simultaneously
After she opened the box, Selena noticed some other things. A...fidget spinner and...dice?
Aphrodite frowned. "Hecate said she put weapons in, I guess these are it,"
Selena snorted. "Mhmm yup, totally, in a moment of death, I'll just walk in slow motion, spin my fidget spinner, and their all just going to cower at the coolness I possess," But Selena still shoved the two into her pocket.
The last box seemed to blind the two of them, glowing with so much power, Aphrodite summoned two sunglasses for the two of them.
Aphrodite glared at the box. "Apollo, I ask for one thing that isn't overwhelmingly bright...and this is what you give me?"
The box felt warm, and filled Selena with warmth to the core. "So...Apollo, you, Hecate, and Athena are the only ones who know I'm alive?"
Aphrodite nodded. "Goodbye, deary, I do hope you have fun," And in a puff of pink smoke, Aphrodite disappeared, leaving Selena alone, as she blacked out.

Author's Note:
So I changed some parts of Selena's character. She wasn't really in many of the Percy Jackson books other than The Last Olympian, so I had to edit some tidbits. According to the Riordan wiki she has blue eyes, but throught different pictures she has grey eyes? So l may be wrong about that...IDK.
