Chapter Two

Hailey POV:

I woke up in a soft and warm bed and that was something I haven't felt in such a long time I thought I was dreaming then I hear the door open and I jump up and look at the door expecting my dad ready to beat me for not waking up for school but I realize I'm not at home in my room and it's not my dad it's Hunter walking out of the bathroom with only a towel around his waist and damn he has abs and this long scar along his chest going from his left shoulder to the bottom of his right abs, finally I realize I'm staring at him and he is looking at me with a smirk on his face and I blush looking down and realizing I'm in different clothes I'm only in underwear and a big
t-shirt that smells like him so I'm guessing it's his, I look up and he is right in front of me looking down at me

"Are you ok my love? I didn't mean to scare you" he said looking at me smirking

"I'm fine you just scared me I thought you were my dad... did you change my clothes? Where did you take me? And why are you in a towel??" I say while looking around at the beautiful room then back at him

"Calm down my love one question at a time" he said laughing "1 no I didn't change your clothes because I didn't ask if you were ok with it so I had my sister do it. 2 I took you to our separate house. 3 i just took a shower and I forgot that you might wake up before I changed" he said answering all questions looking at me with his gorgeous eyes

"Go put some clothes on" I say shooing him away, he turned around while laughing and went into what looked like a walk-in closent and closed the door

I walk over to the glass doors and there is a patio overlooking the forest I open the door and walk out to see a beautiful view and it smells like the forest so fresh and clean it almost smelled like Hunter but he also smells sweet like chocolate, I was laughing at myself I can't believe I remember his smell and actually really like it then I looked down and see the shirt I'm wearing and remember it's his and already missing him I pull it up so I can smell it and it smells just like him then I feel arms snake around my waist and I jump and turn around i didn't even hear him open the closet door and walk up to me because I was busy enjoying the peace and quiet and the smell of his clothes

"I'm sorry my love I forgot you were jumpy for a minute" he said looking down and I feel so bad for making him sad and think he scared me because him himself doesn't scare me that bad but the sneaking up on me scares me because of my dad OMG my dad! I totally forgot ugh he is going to kill me, I guess my eyes went wide because Hunter walked up to me and make me look at him

"What's wrong?" He asked confused

"My dad I have to get home and apologize and pray he doesn't hit me too hard" I say as I walk by him and start walking to the door and realizing the door is locked

"NO!" He yelled anger and hurt in his dark eyes god why do i want to hug him and apologize this is so weird
"You're not leaving, he hurts you and you're not going back just to get hurt!"  He said calming himself down but failing his eyes still pretty dark

"I can't just leave he will be looking for me and won't stop until he does" I say not wanting to put Hunter in danger

"I had some of my man go talk to him and act like child support and told him he would never see you again and to let them get your stuff, and he said he never wanted to see you again anyway. You're stuff is in the suitcase over there" he said pointing at the suitcase next to the closet, I didn't know what to do the only family I had left me and now I'm all alone

I walk to the suitcase and Hunter is still standing by the patio doors so I quickly grab the suitcase and go into the closet and lock the door and slide down it hugging my knees
