• Chapter 1: Why?

Sachee's POV

I opened my eyes. I immediately got up then closed the curtains. The sun light was piercing through my thin curtains.

I walked past the room, but stopped infront of my old mirror. Here we go again a brand new day of sorrow and pain. A brand new day of...remembering him. And a brand new day of blaming myself for what happened in the past. Why didn't I just die? Why can't I just die?

Without knowing it a tear left my eye. I'm crying again...like I always do. I looked at my left...its been two years. Two years but I'm still not a quarter way of moving on.

I crossed out one day from the calendar. Then proceeded to the kitchen. I saw the knife then I looked at my wrist...too bad it didn't work. There was never a day passed that I didn't try to be with him...not one day passed that I didn't try to commit suicide.

I heated water in the pot. Watching it slowly heat up, I was also heating up my hands on top. It suddenly grew cold.

I looked out the window then I saw dark clouds in the sky. Why is it like that? Time passes by so fast...so fast that in a blink of an eye I lost everything. One minute I woke up with the rays of the sun shining through me then the other minute dark clouds suddenly form outside and it looks like it's going to rain.

I looked on the pot, the water is already heated. I opened the cabinet above then took out one cup noodles. This is my breakfast.

I opened the cup then poured the water, then I started eating it.

In the middle of eating, I heared a knock on the door. Who could that be? Since he was gone no one knocked on that door early in the morning.

I opened the door.

He seemed surprised when he saw me. He looked at me, blinking three times faster. "g-good morning...I'm Onew"he said. I just plainly stared at him. "I'm your new neighbor. I live here"then he pointed the door in front of my apartment "So, I was just wondering if...if you study at the university?do you?"he asked. I just nooded at him "GREAT! Can I come with you? Oh I mean can I tag along in going there, I'm kinda a new student there and I don't know the way"I just looked at him then plainly nooded. He smiled "Thank you...I guess I have to go get ready. See you around 15 minutes...whats your name by the way?"I pointed at the door. It had my name on it, he carved it before everything happened "owwww, okay. See you in 15 minutes,  Sachee"Onew gave me one last smile before he went back to his apartment.

I guess he is a good guy. C'mon Sachee, your just gonna show him directions since he is new that's all. After that your done with him.

I continued eating the noodles then got ready for school. Here goes nothing.

I went out of the apartment then I saw Onew waiting for me. "Sachee!!! Over here"he called. I locked my door then went to Onew.

"I'm really excited about school here. It's my first time in Seoul so I don't know much about it. I'm glad you agreed to take me with you to school. I was afraid that I would get lost"Onew kept on blabbing random stuff while walking to school. Actually he has unlimited stock of stories, he doesn't get tired of talking.

"WERE HERE!"he said. He smiled wider. I started to walk inside the school then he followed me. I stopped, then I shook my head. He can't follow me, I dont wanna ruin his image "huh? Wae? Is there a problem Sachee?"he said with a questioning look. ISH! How should I say this?
