He doesn't wanna admit but he knew it was Hyuck only thru the fragrance, being with all of them all day he obviously had noticed that Hyuck used some cologne or maybe it's the bodywash, somewhat fruity. Hyuck just stood beside him until Jun opened his eyes. Hyuck was holding two cans of Tea? How did he know Renjuns favourite tea? He handed one to Jun and gestured him to open and drink, Renjun did. It was silent for few minutes, Renjun was surprised it didnt felt awkward !
(Lemme remind you Renjun and Hyuck never ever talked to each other ,infact Hyuck even forgot how Renjun sounded, he only had heard him singing during evaluations and sometimes when he talked to Jaemin a bit,heck Hyuck didn't even know Renjun can speak korean ,let alone Hyuck no one knew he was fluent in korean)
Hyuck started talking first, “Excited?” ,Renjun nodded and hummed. Hyuck continued, “It must feel good talking in chinese after so many days? It's good Chenle is here”
Renjun didn't say anything he was in pure shock!SHOCK. He didn't expect anyone would even notice him,let alone Hyuck.
He just said,”Yeah it feels good”. And Hyuck did the least expected thing, he patted Renjun s head softly and smiled fondly sayin “Good night”.And headed back to his room.Renjun wished him too with a small smile.
Renjun felt he was dreaming , Did Donghyuck really smile that fondly?Pat his head that softly?Did he notice Renjun’s happiness but also noticed that he was overwhelmed? Honestly speaking Jun found him annoying because he talked too much and didn't want to be his close friend because he knew Hyuck was too touchy and annoyed the people he was close to, he has seen him annoying Mark and jeno tooo much.
But today, Hyuck seemed different?
Next day came by , Just too fast
Manager hyung took them to the company and they were introduced to the song “Chewing Gum” , they didn't exactly like it but it grew on them during the few months of training.
Their friendships started blooming when they found out Renjun was just too fluent in korean,everyone was dumbfounded when the teacher scolded Chenle for his dance moves and Chenle didn't understand anything and Renjun kept on saying something in chinese to him. And Chenle started following the trainer's advice while Renjun kept talking in chinese to him.
