"I just," Jimin paused, his throat tightening as reality finally began to settle in. He was about to die. The girl he was so profoundly in love with was about to die. The previous night, on that date which never happened, he had been intending to propose. To ask l'amour de sa vie to marry him. But it all came crashing down. "I'm so scared to lose you, Mimi."

"I'm not going anywhere." Miyoko gave him a soft, reassuring smile, climbing and lying down atop the blond male.

"I'm right here." She whispered as she pressed her lips delicately to his forehead, and felt his tensed up body relax under her touch.

"And here." A whisper — as her lips landed on his right cheek.

"And here." A whisper — as her lips landed on his left cheek.

"And here." A whisper — as he captured the female's lips with his own, grinning foolishly into the kiss.

And for just a second, everything was perfect.

For just a second, they were a normal couple, who were foolishly, clumsily and all at once, deeply in love.

For just a second.
