The Skatepark, My New Best Friend And A Surprise

"Alright. Well, first thing, I'm not gonna tell anyone. Second, I can see what you mean, but you'll see soon enough, the guys around here, an maybe even some of the girls, they'll fall at your feet, not because of who you are, but because of the way you look. Sure, that's not the best reason to like someone, but it'll happen, just watch. I'll bet you that by lunch at least 2 people will have asked you out, and more will be thinking about it." He challenges. I nod.

"You're on." I say, shaking his hand. He laughs.

"Sweet. Now lets see how many girls are falling over your brother, for his LOOKS, not his last name." He says, standing up and offering me my hand. I take it and he pulls me up. I shrug.

"Well, my brother isn't bad looking. I won be surprised." I say, following him out of the alcove. He groans.

"At this point, I can't wait until Monday so you can see the effect you'll have on people." He says, leading the way over to Ryan. There are 5 or 6 girls around him, giggling and flirting and complimenting him and not one of them look like they belong in a skate park. They're all wearing skirts and heels and tight shirts. I scoff when I see one of them run her hand from Ryan's shoulder to his hand, placing a piece of paper that I'm sure has her number in his hand. Cobus chuckles, and Ryan hears him. He smiles, looking relieved.

"Cobus!! Elizabeth!! There you two are, we need to go meet up with, uhh Alex!! So let's go!" He exclaims, making his way through the girls and dragging us to the car. We let him. Since we're too busy laughing our asses off. Ryan tosses his board in the backseat, then turns and glares at us.

"Glad you two think its funny, now can we go?" He asks. I nod, still chuckling, and turn to Cobus.

"Wanna come? You can be our tour guide for the day." I offer, grinning. He grins back and nods

"Shotgun!!" He hollers, and Ryan groans.

Whatever, lets just go!!!" He says, shoving us towards the car and then sliding into the back. Cobus and I put our boards in the back and then climb in. I start the car and turn to Cobus.

"Where to Mr. Tour Guide?" I ask. He grins and points left.

"I think I'll show you guys one of the malls first." He says. I cheer, and Ryan groans.

"More girls?" He whines.

Cobus and I laugh and Ryan just grumbles and complains until we get there.

After spending about 2 hours running around the mall, the three of us agree that we should probably get back. Cobus asks if we live by the boardwalk, and when we say yes he says that he can walk from our house because he lives near the boardwalk too.

"Alright, you're pulling my leg. Right?" Cobus asks when we pull into our driveway. Ryan and I look at him, confused.

"What are you talking about Cobus?" I ask curiously. He sighs.

"I guess you aren't." He says quietly. He gestures for us to come closer to him, so we do.

"Do you know who lives in that house?" He whispers, pointing at the house where I saw those guys. Ryan and I shake our head, and Cobus nods.

"Guys. Elizabeth. That's Zacky Vengeance's house. AND M Shadows has been staying there while he's going through his divorce." He whispers. Him and Ryan look at my pointedly; we had filled Ryan in while we were at the mall. I roll my eyes.

"Awesome. Now we have a better chance of meeting and being FRIENDS with Avenged Sevenfold. As awesome as that is, I really want to go inside and see who's over, because there should only be four shadows through the window, but I see six." I say getting out of the car. The boys do the same, and Ryan catches my wrist and stops me from going inside.

"Elizabeth, the more people, two neighbors. You can put two and two together." He says. I nod.

"Yeah, it makes four." I answer cheekily. He rolls his eyes. I grin and turn to Cobus.

"Okay best friend, it's already about to be 7 so we should go in. I'll text you if it end up meeting Shadz and Zacky." I say sarcastically. He just grins widely.

"Elizabeth sweetheart, you'd be surprised. Trust me, I'll be getting a text, one way or another." He says before jumping on his board and taking off down the street. Ryan and I grab our boards and I grab my bag and the car keys. Then we go inside. The foyer is empty, but we can hear voices. We close the doors and said voices stop. I hear shuffling and then see Darla come out if the Great room smiling.

"Oh good, you two are home. Come meet the neighbors!!" She says, ushering us into the room. I'm busy shoving Ryan so he'll stop making me crash into him, so I glance up at the neighbors, but it doesn't register in my mind at first. Then it clicks, and Ryan and I look at each other. Ryan grins, and I groan and pull out my phone.

'I hate you. And he's even hotter in person. -E'

I send the text to Cobus, and then look up from my phone. Both of them are looking at Ryan and I. You know who I'm talking about. M Shadows and Zacky Vengeance are sitting in our bloody Great room!!!
