"Carter called, saying he saw someone following you around. We decided it was best for you guys to come home. He took care of the little shit, but we couldn't risk you being out there without back up." Isaac explained.

Carter is responsible for Luna her security when she leaves the house. He will become her shadow to ensure her safety.

"He's down at the basement for interrogation. Kayden would you like to have some fun with him?" Cole asked with a grin.

"Hell yes."

Kayden was the most sadistic one out of the five of us, so it wasn't a surprise he would lead the interrogation.

The guy won't last five minutes, I smiled at the thought. That's what you get when you mess with the Romano's, our vengeance.

I was leaning against the cold wall admiring Kayden's work.

We found out he was a part of the Russian mafia, send to learn as much as possible about her.

We knew she would become a target as soon the news of her return was out, I guess we hoped it wouldn't be so fast.

Isaac said we will set an example of what happens when you mess with us by sending the corps back.

The stronzo was a bloody mess without fingers, ears and eyes.

Aiden punched him a few more times before slitting his throat. It would definitely send a message to all our enemies.

Of course that was not the only thing we would do. They were going to lose a few thousands by losing an important shipment.

I looked at the time and cursed.

Luna is going to be pissed at me for letting her unpack all these bags by herself. The best thing to do is checking up on her and see if she needs help with something else.

I knocked softly at her door and went inside. My cute little bean was sound asleep, probably tired from our exhausting trip. I took another picture of her because she was too cute.

My eyes widened when I saw her foot on the pillow, her ankle was sickly twisted and deformed.

I felt like someone was squeezing my hart, what had happened to her? I left the room and immediately went to the others in the kitchen.

I got a few confused looks when I stormed into the room. Aiden saw the hurt in my eyes and asked what was going on.

"You all need to see this," was all I could say.

"See what?" Cole questioned, he was confused by my strange behaviour.

"Just follow me, and be quiet she's sleeping."

I led them to Luna's room, fortunately she was still passed out on her bed.

Kayden's anger was radiating of off him, Aiden had this haunted look on his face and Isaac had as always a blank expression.

Cole stepped toward her foot, trying to examine her injury without waking her. He had a great medical knowledge, what came in handy when one of us got hurt during the job.

"How did this happen!" Kayden whisper-shouted.

"Quiet, you moron. You will wake her," Aiden hissed at him.

"Out," Isaac ordered. "We will discuss this elsewhere."

We followed him to the living room.

"How did this happen," Kayden repeated his question.

All their eyes were focussed on me, expecting me to explain it to them.

"I don't know, I went to check on her and saw her ankle," I explained.

"That explains the limping," Aiden groaned.

"I told you she was hiding something," He continued.

"It's an old injury that didn't correctly heal. I would say from a year ago, maybe more, maybe less," Cole stated.

"It looks like it was caused by someone, the joint is too twisted to be from natural causes," he continued.

"Someone caused this!" yelled Aiden, his face was taken over by anger.

"I suspect so," was Cole's only answer.

"We will find out more when she's awake. I will ask the questions, no one else, understand." Isaac sternly asked.

We agreed with him, he was the most controlled, what made him perfect for the task.

I was afraid it wasn't the only injury she had. Aiden's eyes met mine and I knew I wasn't the only one who was suspecting it.

I heard footsteps coming toward us. Luna was awake and looking at us with a worried expression.

"Is everything all right?" she wanted to know.

"We need to talk tesoro," Isaac stated.
