Chunin Exams Begin

"Huh?" My teammates said as I yawned.

"Yeah. Didn't ya guys know? Only teams of 3-4 can join the exams." I said.

"That's true," Kakashi-sensei said.

"But sensei, you said the decision to take the exam was ours," Sakura said.

"That's right. I did."

"Was that a lie?" She asked.

"Sort of. It is the individual decision, but it affects you all." He explained. "I didn't tell you before because I didn't the other guys to pressure you. And at the same time, I didn't want you to feel obliged because of the others' feelings."

"Wait a minute. Do you mean if the others had shown, but I decided not to come with them-"

"It would have been the end of the line," Sensei said. "If you hadn't come along, I couldn't have let the others in. But it's a moot point. You're all here for the right reasons. Sakura...Naruto...Sasuke...and Ryuu." We all smirked as he said our name (Sakura smiled)

"I'm proud of you." He continued making me beam up at him. "I couldn't ask for a better team. Good luck. Oh and Ryuu, they'll underestimate you the mpst. You should be the youngest participant, but don't let it get to you."

"Don't worry Sensei I'll make them regret underestimating me," I exclaimed punching my fist into my hand.

"Yeah, we won't let you down sensei. Believe it!" Naruto shouted.

We all walked in. The people here are a lot less scary than the people at my chunin exams, thankfully. 

"Wh-what's this?" Naruto asked shocked.

"Gee. I guess we're not alone." Sakura added on.

"I guess you're right. There sure are a lot of old people here." I said looking around.

"You idiot take this more seriously." Sakura whisper-yelled at me.

*gulp* "Yes, ma'am."

"Sasuke, where have you been?" I heard the obnoxious voice of Ino.

She jumped onto Sasuke's back, "You have no idea how much I was hoping you'd show up here." She continued, "I've missed those brooding good looks of yours.

"Eww. Would you put a lid on it little miss piggy?" I said getting annoyed by her voice.

"Yeah, what Ryuu said. Back off porker, he's mine!" Sakura shouted.

"That isn't what I meant at all," I said, but I was ignored.

"Miss forehead! They let you in?" Ino taunted. "Still got those big frown lines on your billboard brow I see."

"Leave my forehead out of it!" Ino just stuck her tongue out in response.

"Oh, it's you guys." I heard a lazy voice say, "I knew this was gonna be a drag, but I didn't know it was gonna be this lame."

"Hey Shikamaru, Choji," I said. Shikamaru was the only person to ever figure out that I wasn't really an idiot and Choji's pretty cool, so I like them.

"Hey, Ryuu!" Choji said while Shikamaru just nodded at me.

"So all three stooges are here," Naruto said.

"Hey, you know what pipsqueak," Shikamaru started, "Ah, forget it you're just a waste of time."

"Well, well. What do ya know?" I heard a cocky voice. Dammit not him. Kiba thinks he's the coolest person ever. But, he's really just a cocky bastard.
