I got discharged and we was about to walk to the front desk to sign out when we walked past Von room. I seen him just sitting there looking at the tv bored.

Von POV
I was sitting in the bed bored as hell waiting on my results back . The bullet didn't do shit but hit my shoulder . They had to do a x ray to make sure nothing damaged. I was ready to get the fuck. Idk why tho my life has crumbled before this. I heard a light knock snapping me out my thoughts . Looking at the door I already knew who it was by the knock.
"Can I come in" she said
"Nai?" I asked "yeah"
She walked in on crutches with a wrapped leg . I knew this had to hurt her because Sanai was independent and this was gonna make her have somebody watching her .
"I'm sorry nobody came to see if you were okay I woke up about 9 am and yk how they is " she said
"It's cool ma India came to check on me " I replied
Durk and Booka didn't come but India did . I was glad to see somebody cared
"I'm trying to get them too but all Durk do is say the same thing over and over and over"
"What he say" I asked
"Talm bout how that family shit died when you broke yo promise about treating me right" she said rolling her eyes "I told him I didn't care since we weren't together but his ass stubborn as hell"
"Nai I promise I-" I started
"Von I told you to stop apologizing, I can't trip over what's done and I can't trip over what happened when we weren't together" she said
I just sighed and closed my eyes
"How you feeling" I asked
"I'm fine the bullet went out , they talm bout I gotta be on crutches for 2 weeks and I can't run or make no sudden movements on this leg for about a month" She said sighing
"Damn , my bad ma I should kept my mouth closed" I said lying
I'm glad I said something , even tho in Nai mind we weren't together we was together in mines and I had to put Booka in his place.
"You're good I honestly just wish things went back to normal , when everybody was good " she said
"Same but Durk and Booka want nothing to do with me" I said trying to get up but felt a sharp pain in my shoulder
