They sat next to each, they were such close friends but none of them knew what to say when they stared at each other like that. It didn't seem to end, and it wouldn't if Miss Winston hadn't made her way in and sat beside Jevelene, igniting a conversation with her. But Ariel didn't seem interested at all, well, not in the conversation at least.

Soon, her blue eyes stopped at his face and his wandered towards Miss Winston, who had just asked him about his lineage, "I'm the son of Aphrodite," He was tired of telling to everyone already but it thought it wouldn't be courteous to decline a conversation with his benefactor.
"Ah, I see that golden Aphrodite glow on your face, child," Miss Winston smiled, "Your eyes are very attractive, it's a beautiful shade of green,"

"It's turquoise blue," Ariel looked outside at the Chinese country scape, with lakes spreading their bosom as far as the heart to see. Jevelene looked at him and he turned towards her. Embarrassed, she looked down and he rolled outside again, "I'm gonna sleep. I feel tired. Good night, wake me up when we are there" Ariel covered his face with a shawl the coachman gave him and soon was snoring soundly.

As the sun disappeared, the weather turned chilly and Jeveleve covered the shawl over his chest and his stomach. Miss Winston smiled, "You two seem close,"
"Erm, we are best friends!"
She smiled as if refusing to believe but refraining to protest, "Of course,"

The carriage stopped at a train station and Ariel was carried to the train by the coachman while the servants carried their luggage. It was a week-long journey but as the seasons changed from autumn to cold, and the red leaves were covered with a white lace of snow, they knew they were in Russia.

Once they reached Russia, Mrs Winston took them to the hostel. Jevelene stepped out of the car, landing his feet on the snow. The cold reminded her where she was. It was Moscow, the ornamental Russian city unravelling its vibrant cultural heritage; where temperatures plummet and trees embrace the sub-zero climate.

Everything looked awe-inspiring under a dusting of snow. It was Christmas time, the streets didn't fail to showcase that. There was something undeniably charming about the colorful, tented rooftops of Saint Basil's Cathedral capped with a layer of icy frost.

Moscow in December was a visual wonder.

"Mrs Winston," A young woman approached.
"Yes, Mrs Barnes?" She asked. Ariel jumped down from the carriage and his feet sank inside a two feet deep pile of snow, "Nigga-Ugh! This is terrible,"
"Akagi is here. He's waiting for you in your office,"

"Oh," She looked at Jevelene and Ariel, "Well, you children come with me, it's very cold out here,"
Mrs Winston walked in a hurry with Mrs Barnes, Jevelene and Ariel.

She opened the door to her office and the warm air of the radiator flew out of the room, "Well, hello Akagi!" Mrs Winston laughed and walked inside. Jevelene looked inside and saw a pair of black leather boots on thin feet, crossed together as a young man rested himself on a chair. He looked away from his book and got up.

He bowed, "привет, миссис Уинстон"
(Tn// Hello, Mrs Winston) He looked over at Jevelene and Ariel, "кто эти дети?"
(Tn// Who are these kids?)

"Oh, we found them in a Chinese orphanage,"
"They don't speak Russian?"
"No, but they know English,"
"I see,"

Akagi removed the blue lenses over his eyes. Jevelene looked at his red eyes, "He has red eyes," She whispered to Ariel.
"Might be a demon, stay alert,"

"How stupid, I'm not a demon. I'm a demigod, for fucks sake,"
"He heard you!" Jevelene whispered, "You can speak English?" She asked Akagi.
"Do I have to answer that?"

"I don't believe that you are demigod, old fart," Ariel said and within a second he found himself in a trashcan.

"Aye! WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?! HOW DID I END UP HERE?! I WAS WITH JEVELENE A SECOND AGO, I SWEAR TO ZEUS!"

Akagi lit up a cigarette, "You got a pretty annoying little shitkid with you,"
"I'M A DEMIGOD!"
"You are what comes out of your mouth,"

Jevelene looked at him. His elbows, eyes and the back of his knees were not like a human. His shoulders were positioned just like Ariel, he was a demigod. He had a grin like a cooked knife, sly hands and a gravelly voice with a clear American accent.

With tight jeans and loose morals.
He was charming.
And a charming man is dangerous.

Ariel shouted as he jumped out of the trashcan, "COME AT ME, MOTHERFUCKER!"

"You're angry.
Anger makes you stupid
Stupid gets you killed," Akagi said.

"SHUT UP, FAGGOT!" Ariel's eyes glowed golden.
"His manners are utterly deplorable," Akagi said. Jevelene looked at him. His eyes were shining bright red.

'Oh no.
Oh no no no no no'
