two weeks have gone by with jaemin dedicating his life with trying to get renjun and jeno to become closer by nearly taking them out of his life, which, honestly, was a bad idea since there were so many times where the brown haired boy was so close to breaking.
but, he managed to survive. plus, his two roommates were surely getting closer to each other, and that's all that mattered. even though what he was doing to himself hurt a lot, it was jaemin's goal by this point to give up. and in that process, why not help the two be closer to each other and make a relationship spark between them?
the brown haired boy was very obviously aware about how his actions were affecting his friends, and although he was starting to grow concerned with his choice of action and the way he decided to handle things, he couldn't find himself to actually stop.
he was nowhere near moving on or calling it quits, so until then, his behavior would continue as such.
the brown haired male was currently sitting on his bed, playing a game on his phone. jeno and renjun had gone out to grab some food, since they were craving some fried rice and orange chicken from panda express (and so was the author at the time she wrote this) a few ways down the street, and would most likely return soon. so for now, jaemin was alone in the quiet room.
but that peacefulness didn't last long as his two roommates barged into the room, holding two bags of food from the restaurant they went to buy them from and holding a conversation between them.
"-nd that's why i'm telling you that the percentage is fifty-three point eight percent," jeno said, placing the plastic bags on top of the nearest desk to the door and tossing his keys somewhere on his bed.
"and that's why i'm telling you that your math is wrong. i'm one grade above you. i know this stuff better than you," the chinese male argued back, closing the door behind him and taking his shoes off before locking the door.
only rolling his eyes as a response, jeno went over to the bathroom to wash his hands in the sink, and the chinese male followed behind him to do the same action. after they had finished, while continuing their little argument, of course, the two of them left the bathroom and began to set up to eat.
"hey, jaemin," the other brown haired male called for the boy who was just sitting on his bed and playing his game. the smiley male turned around to look at his roommate and gestured for him to come and sit with them to eat. "let's eat. come on."
that was the thing. how were jeno and renjun treating the brown haired male nicely despite the other acting cold towards them for about two weeks now? jaemin didn't understand. he thought the two hated him by now, but here they were, still trying to include him into everything.
letting out a quiet scoff that went unheard by the other two due to the sound of plastic bags being messed with, the brown haired male got up from his bed and made his way to the door. "i'm not hungry."
seeing his roommate planning to leave their shared dorm room, jeno quickly grabbed a box of food that was on the table and got up from his seat. he positioned himself in front of the other brown haired male and held out the box with fried rice and orange chicken with one hand, wanting the other to take it with him. "if you're going to leave again, then at least take this with you, so you can eat it when you get hungry or something."
it didn't really matter what box of food jeno gave to his roommate because they all had the same contents of food. it just so happens that the three of them have the same preference in food, so it usually isn't too difficult to know what their roommates wanted. what did matter, however, was that jaemin would actually accept the box of food from jeno and take it with him, even if he were to throw it away once he left the dorm room.
