Agnes' POV

A new school year has started and it's officially my last year here sa Francis International high school. Parang kelan lang we're too shy to introduce ourselves in front of the class and now, senior year na namin. The memory of me finding hard to cope up and adjust in a big campus is so vivid, kung hindi naman kasi dahil sa scholarship ko, hindi ako mabibigyan ng chance to study in a big school. Pag pasok mo pa lang kasi sa campus, you'll see many sub buildings for different departments and also the many many side benches, scenery and also the mini park inside the campus. May sarili pa nga silang coffee shop sa loob. My first three weeks as a freshman 3 years ago was a routine of going to class, library, canteen and then home. I am from a broken family and si mama lang ang nag tataguyod samin ng little brother ko. She works sa office ng isang malaking company and minsan suma-sideline for an extra income. I look up at her kasi kahit single mom sya, hindi nya kami pinabayaan ni Emil. That's why after papa left us, sinabi ko sa sarili ko na I would do everything para matulungan si mama in the future.

They said that high school years will be the best years of your life. I seriously doubted it at first  kasi hello?? wala akong friends nung una, but thank God I met these awesome dorks.

Miguel and Paolo are twins, isang sobrang daldal, isang puro tulog and kain. But I swear, super talented nila both. Poch on the other hand, is the bully of the group, pero sabi naman nya mahal nya kami so pwede na yun. Kidding aside, he's one of the sweetest person I know basta nasa katinuan sya. Keifer is that kind of friend na super tahimik but the best in giving life advices and Jam, our human diary. Pwede mo sabihin lahat sa kanya pati yung ulam mo kaninang umaga, she won't judge you ever. They ain't perfect but I consider them as my family. Together, we handle the FIHS music club and kami kami rin yung officers. I am wondering nga kung magkakaroon kami ng bagong members this year pero I doubt kasi bihira and mga transferees pag ganitong senior year na.

"Earth to Agnes? Hello?" Sabi ni Jam while waving her hand sa mukha ko breaking me from my thoughts.

"Commercial ads ka ba sa spotify? kitang nag rereminisce eh" sabi ko sabay irap. "Eh kung inaayos mo na yung membership papers dyan and banners para mag mukhang welcoming and club natin"

"Eto  na boss ginagawa na oh, as if naman may sasali pa eh parang wala nga atang transferees."

"I think Reoma is waiting for her soulmate?" Poch

"Si Agnes? soulmate? HAHAHAHAHAH habang tumatagal nagiging funny jokes mo Poch ha" Migs

"Oh yeah I remember na pwede na palitan ni Agnes si Rapunzel sa sobrang haba ng hair nya, sa 4 years na magkakasama tayo, walang sinagot si Agnes sa lahat ng nanligaw sa kanya." Jam

"Lahat na ata ng gwapo sa FIHS palpak kay Reoma, ako na lang ata hindi nag ttry" Poch

"Hala ka gwapo ka ba?" Jam

"Jamantha don't get me started" Poch

"Don't forget na pati girls inclunding Sandra, nanligaw kay Agnes." Kiefer

"Oh my God? THE Sandra Evangelista? The daughter of the President of the school? Sandra na Head cheerleader? Sandra na consistent honor awardee?" Migs

"Sandra na umubos ng turon sa canteen last year" Pao

"Wow Migs gulat na gulat?" Keifer

"Joke lang alam ko naman yun, wala lang natatawa lang ako pag binabanggit si Sandra kasi si Sandra na yun pero di parin pumasa kay Reomalupet" Migs

"Hay nako tinigilan na ako non sana kayo rin maka move on na. Alam nyo naman na love is not my priority right now, plus hindi ko sila type. Masasayang lang oras ko and baka sa huli masaktan ako. I have no time for that."

It's true. I never tried to look for love or to entertain people. Inaamin ko my walls are so high na baka and ending, forever na akong mag isa pero oh well, my dream is to be successful enough to give my mom and brother a happy and comfortable life. That's all that matters to me, for them to be genuinely happy.

"Oh tigilan na natin si Agnes, alam naman nating puro aral and banda lang yan. Pero it would be a privilege to see Agnes Reoma fall in love in this lifetime. Sana talaga masilayan ko pa yun ng buhay, pero sige I'll treat you guys sa samgyupsalan near our school pag nangyari yun." Pao

"Wow kambal manlilibre ka? Oh how i wish dumating na future jowa ni Agnes ngayon" Migs

"Hay nako guys sige lang umasa lang kayo, ako na nag sasabi sainyo mukhang never na kayo makakatikim ng libre ni Pao" I chuckled lightly with the idea of me falling in love.

"Hello excuse me?" Natigil yung pag aasaran namin.

"Is this the Music club? Balak sana namin mag join ng friends ko"
