"I think I would. One question though, would we be able to have their names changed to Amelie and Lucas Grey-Sloan Shepherd? I mean at least legally because if later on they go into the medical field it will help them." He says

"That's fine I just want to run it by Mark. Ok?" I ask

"Ok. Can you tell me about them?" He asks

"Good. Amelie's nickname is Ame. She's shy so it will take time for her to get use to you. She is very cuddly once you get to know her. Then again she's a drama queen sometimes. She's more of a me. Lucas, he is so sweet unless he's mad. He has a mix of our eyes. He has my hair color obviously but your amount of hair which is hard to take care of. He is not shy like you. He also picked some of Mark's habits like complimenting other because he sees Mark and I. He is as proud as you are cocky sometimes. And the rest you are gonna have to figure out" I say

"They sound wonderful!" He says

"They are. I love them they are the reason I'm alive." I say

"You have raised them good Meredith." He says

"Thank you! You won't believe how many times they got on my nerves and I went to bed sad because they hate me." I say giggling a bit

"So they have lots of attitude?" He asks

"More than you can even imagine but only when they are moody! I think they spent to much time with Cristina." I say

"How often did they see everyone?" He asks

"Quite often but not that often in person. Sometimes people would call us during their lunch break and they talked and the twins told them about their day! They love everyone!" I say

"Good. When can I meet them?" He asks

"I have to talk to Mark. You have to apologize to him to. But after that we will sit them down talk to them and then maybe give them a day to process everything then the day after or around that you are most likely meet them. But it all depends on how fast you apologize to Mark." I say

"I will apologize when u find him." He says

"Good because he was salvaged about yesterday to." I say

"I really am sorry for that." He says

"I know but don't say it even if you are super mad because you have no idea how much fear and pain those words can have on people." I say

"I won't." He says

"Any other questions or can I go get my scrubs now?" I ask

"Um I want to know the kids soon so my mother can meet them because she's coming soon I think for thanksgiving! And scrubs?" He asks

"Ok I will try my best and we can talk about a big thanksgiving with everyone if you like and scrubs because I am now a second year resident hear at Seattle Grace! Ok got to go bye!" I say leaving.

*at the end of Mark and Meredith's shift*
I haven't seen Mark once my entire shift. I did go see the kids when I got a break, I was heading to the lobby when I saw Mark.

"Mark!" I say

"Hey babe!" He says giving me a hug and kiss

"Hi! Let's go get the kids!" I say

"How was your day and this morning?" He asks

"My day was good and I wanted to talk to you about this morning... did Derek apologize to you about last night?" I ask

"Yeah?" He says

"Ok well I wanted to ask you about how you feel if he got to know the kids?" I ask.
