At the hospital...
Meredith's POV:
We arrived at the hospital and I was admitted. The nurse said I was only 2cm dilated which meant I had to go through 8 more cm of this excruciating pain.
"Mark!" I yell in pain
"Yes gorgeous" he responds
"Don't "gorgeous" me if you had only worn a condom we wouldn't be in this situation!!"
"You know you are excited to see the babies"
"I am but it really hurts!" I respond with tears in my eyes.
"I know I know honey but just this then we will have two beautiful babies in our arms!"
"One you don't know what pushing two 7 or so pound babies out of you private! And two I know I'm just in pain and it makes me say things I don't mean! I'm sorry" I said in one breath
"Oh I'm sorry and your gonna be ok. I'm gonna make sure you will be ok."
"IM HERE!" Lexie said as she barged in
"Lexie!" I said happily
"Hey! How are you and my niece and nephew?"
"I'm in pain and I think they are pretty comfortable"
"Ah well mom and dad are coming as well as Cristina and Alex."
"Oh ok"
"Oh and when the babies are born Richard asked if we could FaceTime so your friends at the hospital could meet them."
"Ok!"
*an hour later*
Everyone has arrived already and we are all in the same room waiting.
"Ugh why are they deciding to take so long to be born!?" I ask
"Because they are stubborn just like you are" mark retorts
"Haha funny is like you to not be bad when you are in as much pain as I am!"
"Watch it dude she will torture you when you get back if you piss her off" Alex says
"He's right" Cristina adds in
"I'm sorry don't be mad or angry at me please" Mark begs
"I will TRY not to"
"Thank you"
*6 hour time jump*
The babies were born around an hour or so.
"They look so much like you Meredith!" Susan said
"I know"
"They have your cute button nose, blonde hair, and your looks!" Mark said admiring his daughter
"Mer you have changed Mark!"
"I didn't change him, I helped bring out the good in him!" I said holding Marks hand
"Yes you did" Mark said kissing my head
"Well what are their names?" Susan asked
"Yeah what are their names! Lexie added in
"Well the boys name is... Lucas Everett Grey-Sloan!" I said happily
"And this beautiful girls name is Amelie Harper Grey-Sloan" Mark said while holding our beautiful daughter.
"Those are gorgeous names mer!" Cristina said
"Thank you."
"So how are you liking the idea of parenthood?" Thatcher asked Mark and I.
"It's scary but I will do anything to make my babies happy!" I said
"I agree and mer is already a great mother!" Mark said.
"Thank you! You are already a great father!"
"You two are so cute" Susan said laughing

A few weeks later...
At Mer and Marks house:
"Call me if you need anything and I mean anything ok?" Susan said as she hugged me.
"Of course thank you for everything!" I respond
"No problem anything for my new grandkids!" She said as she left.
Susan has been helping Mark and I with the twins and has helped us create a schedule that works with the both of us. She really has been a great stepmother and step grandma. The twins are very big trouble markers and have already given Mark a small heart attack when the rolled over for the first time. I love my kids and I think I'm starting to love MARK!
"Hey babe!" Mark said
"Hey!"
"You know you are a great mom right?" He asked
"Thanks you are a great dad!"
"What if I'm not their biological father?" He asks
"Mark it doesn't matter ok. A father is someone you are related to but a dad is someone who raises and is with you through everything." I said trying to make him feel better.
"I don't think I'm their father but I most definitely want to be their dad!"
"I want you to be their dad too" I said
"Thank you for everything!"
"You don't ever have to thank me Mark... I love you!" I said which surprised the both of us.
"Wow!... I love you too!!" Mark said as he kissed me.
We love each other and our kids. This is a living dream. I love this man!

At the Seattle Grace...
Lexie's POV:
I have been back at Seattle Grace for a while and everything has been fine I mean things with Derek a bit awkward since no one really likes likes him anymore since he was basically the reason Meredith moved and the reason no one gets to see the twins but other than that everything is chill.
"Hey Lexie!" I turn to see who called my name and I see Derek I wonder what he could want.
"Hey what's up?" I ask
"So Meredith had the kids?" He asked
"Yeah a few weeks ago why?"
"Oh just wondering do they know why the biological father is?"
"Um I think Mark thinks it's yours but Meredith doesn't really talk about it so we just call Mark the father." I responded
"Oh ok thanks." He then walked away
Sometimes I feel bad for Derek but Meredith and Mark are happy and he made his choice, in my opinion he made it way to quick, but he made the decision to not know the kids even if there is a chance they are his.
