Without looking back, I ran. I ran as fast as I could wearing my beaten up sneakers and my shirt that was covered in blood.
The image appeared back in my head. Her. Laying on the ground unconscious. It broke me. Hearing her yells and screams for me to run away.
"I'm sorry mom.."
I kept running for another 5 minutes until I approached Armins apartment. I banged on the door, hoping that he would open before dad came.
Finally, the door opened slowly, revealing the blond looking up at me with his ocean eyes. Oh those eyes, I could talk about them for days.
"Eren?"
I smiled to myself.
"Look, I'll explain later, I need to come in like right now."
He saw I was panicking quite a bit so he let me inside. He led me to his room and we sat down on his bed.
"Eren.." He ran his fingers through my hair. "What happened?"
I took a glance at him and we immediately locked eyes.
"Armin.."
The image appeared again. I couldn't help tearing up.
"He ruined my whole childhood. He's the reason why I lost my mother. I'm going to pay him back some day." I blurred out.
The blond looked at me with soft eyes.
I realised what I said and quickly covered my mouth.
Fuck. He's going to hate me now isn't he?
"Eren..you don't have to explain what happened to me now..calm down a bit ok? But first, we need to get you out of these filthy clothes. One second."
Armin quickly went towards his drawer and fetched me a pair of clothes to wear.
"Uh..this large hoodie is all I have that's clean, everything else is in the washing machine..you're ok with that right?"
"Yes I don't mind" I gave him a smile to reassure him and took off my blood-covered shirt.
Armin pov
I closed my eyes so that Eren could get changed. I didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable .
"Okay you can look now.."
As I opened my eyes, the sight of the brunette wearing an oversized hoodie and only his boxers made me blush. Damn it, he's so cute.
"I'll leave you alone now ok, if you want you can sleep on my bed, I'll sleep on the sofa." I gave him a quick smile and walked off.
As I was about to head out of the room, I felt a small tug on my sleeve.
"Armin, please don't leave like she did...please"
"Eren.."
He looked up at me like a small puppy. I couldn't help but gaze at his emerald eyes..
"Ok fine, I'll stay with you."
Eren gave me a warm smile and yanked me into the bed covers with him.
"Eren, do you want to talk about it now?"
He shook his head while snuggling into my chest.
"I want to cuddle with you, that's all I need right now." He looked up at me and gave me a quick peck on my cheeks.
A small smile appeared on my face as we both got comfortable underneath the sheets.
When i thought Eren fell asleep, I heard a small voice say,
"Armin..you smell like strawberries..I like it a lot.."
