"Are you okay?" Aisha asked startling Bloom who was panting heavily, still struggling to roll her own mind after what had happened.

But she nodded anyway, "Yeah, yeah. I think so. What the hell was that thing?"

"I'm pretty sure it's called a Burned One." Aisha responded and in the mean time shifted uneasily.

"Huh..Wait, where's Stella?" Bloom asked.

"She's at school," Aisha raised a brow, "why?"

"That thing just took her ring." She twitched ever the tiniest bit at the thought of Stella's backlash.

"Don't worry about the stupid ring," Maya was the one to ease her burden,"leave it to me."

Bloom looked at Aisha, who looked at Terra, who looked at Musa; Musa, using her powers to fathom Maya's inner soul, managed to discern just the usual thrill she usually exuded but there was also a faint twinge of vengeance.

It wasn't really a vindication, Maya confirmed to herself: it would just be a harmless little prank that was meant to, first of all, bore Stella, and secondly, wring a smile from the girls who had been discombobulated by all the goings-on.

After doing some research on the design of Solaria's ring, which she had to admit wasn't that neat for a royal ring, Maya began to sketch it similarly, despite her incompetence, cross-legged on her bed while Musa listened on her headphones and Terra tended to her plants, sometimes humming to herself.

Honestly Maya wanted to get to know the girls more, do something that would engage them, maybe even watch some series or a Netflix movie, that way just to spend time together; but she would think about that after she finished her drawing, if she even deemed it one.

When she finished her picture and memorized its structure, Maya was relieved that Musa and Terra were still awake, so she turned on her laptop and went to browse through the list of TV series; if she thought about it, in fact, she hadn't spent any real time with them, like gossiping about boys, although there was no one to talk about, or at least Maya thought so, talking about their hobbies and passions, although Terra's wasn't hard to figure out, since she spent all her time on the plants.

"Girls," she called out to them, and Terra was the first to turn to address her with a smile, and Musa followed after a second appeal, removing her headphones and shifting her attention to the blonde with her laptop unlocked, "How about we watch 'Once Upon a Time'?"

"What's that?" Terra inquired curiously as she turned off the mobile phone in her hands and sat back on her bed.

"Terra you struck me straight to the core."

"Is it that TV show with the handsome pirate, by any chance?" Musa enquired jokily, having secretly skipped a season just to see Killian Jones.

"And Peter Pan," Maya grinned, Musa reciprocating as Maya gestured to come over to her bed, "Come on now, the only bonding time we managed to have was while chasing the red head troublemaker."

Musa joined her, plopping down next to her as Terra stood there, chagrined as she eyed her mates, "I don't know if all three of us can fit, look how I am-"

"Of course we fit," Maya interrupted her, "And stop underestimating yourself just because of lame people who have nothing worthwhile to do. Just surround yourself with those people who actually give a damn about you and it's all good."

Terra drew a faint breath of solace and beamed at them, Maya ended up staying squeezed in a little, but not displaying her discomfort, which Musa comprehended, but left it at that, not wanting to make Terra feel worse.

"How about we start straight from the second season?" Musa proposed, Maya laughing slightly, figuring out the girl's meaning.

So, short chapter but just to show maybe the girls bonding more, because honestly during the first season I didn't see them bonding much except when they had to help Bloom.

I'm going to do a lot of moments like that during season 1, mostly to stretch it out until season 2 comes along and rightly make them connect more.

Idk, now I'd be planning to do something similar with Riven, but well later on since that guy is insufferable.

But this is why we all love him;)

And i love Once Upon a Time, Killian Jones especially.
