Jaune and the girls had used gate to return to the woods near the capital and were walking through the city gate when they had saw a carriage pass through them only for it to stop. The door had opened and the duke had showed himself and asked Jaune to accompany him. The girls had asked if they could come along as well. The duke had agreed and said they could come as guards for him.
The duke had explained that his brother had fallen deadly ill and he is in need of Jaune's recovery spell to heal his brother. Jaune had agreed since if he could prevent a family from a losing a member, he would help in any way he can. They had soon arrived at the king's manor where they had came upon an out of shape man.

The man had introduced himself as aristocrat Balsa and that his majesty may not last long due to the ambassador giving him poisoned wine. Jaune when he met Michelangelo had been given a second semblance which allows his eyes to turn golden which allow him to see someone's Aura to tell if they are friend or foe and even if they are telling the truth or lying; he named it piercing gaze. Jaune had used piercing gaze as soon as they passed Balsa and saw that he was hiding something.
The duke, Jaune, and the girls had made it to the king's bedroom where they saw a woman and a girl around Jaune's age.

The woman hugged the duke and called him her brother in law, she then asked who he had brought but he said he will explain later before asking Jaune to heal his brother. Jaune then had his hand over the king and used his recovery spell. The king then opened his eyes and said "The pain is fading as if it was all a bad dream". The king then was fully healed and any appearance of him being poisoned was gone.

The king then looked at the duke and said "Brother is good to see you, but who is this young man and women you have brought before me" The duke had answered. "Brother, this is Jaune Belmont, a young adventurer who is capable to using any type of magic; he used the null magic recovery to heal you and when I met him, he saved my daughter from being kidnapped", he then introduced the girls to them as well. The king bowed and said "it seems I owe you a debt young man". Jaune replied "You being well again and not leaving your family from something out of your control is thanks enough, your majesty". The king then introduced himself as Tristwin Ernes Belfast. his wife Yuel Erenea Belfast, and his daughter Leafa Erena Belfast.
Leafa looked at Jaune with admiration from his magical skill and his selflessness. Jaune looked at Leafa blushing and he blushed somewhat himself, Tio, Kuroka, and Erza had each looked at each other and began to talk amongst themselves. A guard then came to the bedroom and said the ambassador had come to plead her innocence, the girls had asked if they were able to talk to Leafa.
