~~~FIFTY FOUR~~~

I could tell that he was coming to a close end of his part of the show. 

"Okay so guys my time is almost over so I am going to perform my last song for the night" He says.

The crowd was very obviously disappointed. So was Niall. I mean like I was standing here the whole time but he didn't care he was like full fan boy mode. I didn't even know the mode existed!!

"Before I sing this song I wanted to tell you guys... Most of the people working apart of this foundation have lost someone they loved very dearly. People say that over time the wounds will heal but let me tell you it will never heal. But to everyone who is trying to move on even after it I applaud you. So this song is to everyone who has lost someone" He says. 

My heart was breaking. No one knew what happened to Allison only a few people knew about it. He didn't let anyone get to him despite all the shit talking rumors about what happened to her. It was breaking him inside this whole time and yet he never complained about it. 

"This is Supermarket Flower by Ed Sheeran" He says before he starts to play the guitar. 

"I took the supermarket flowers from the windowsill

I threw the day old tea from the cup

Packed up the photo album Matthew had made

Took the get well soon cards and stuffed animals

He sung by this time the whole crowd had their flash light on their phone out and were waving them. 

I could see it in his eyes. They were slightly glossy. My heart broke further.

Fluffed the pillows, made the beds, stacked the chairs up

Folded your nightgowns neatly in a case

John says he'd drive then put his hand on my cheek

And wiped a tear from the side of my face

Now I was feeling like absolute shit. I did this to him. If I just checked on him from time to time I would have realized that he wasn't okay. His eyes was really glossy I could tell he was trying to hold back the tears. You could hear that his voice was strained not the same soft, smooth voice he was singing with the whole of show before.

He finishes the song. I saw a tear leave his eyes. This was all my fault... I let this happen to my own kid  

"Thank you guys for an amazing show and donating! I am sure a lot of people will benefit from you guys" He says putting on a fake smile before he hurries of the stage.

"You should talk to him" I hear Niall tell me. 

He was right... A talk was long over due.
