Chapter 13: Flare Collision! Rematch With Lane!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!

*Adeona and Lucifer land in the stadium, Lucifer takes the center with its barrier fully out*

Lane: Now bring it! Unleash your power!

Athena: Guiding Shoot!!

*Adeona attacks Lucifer with all it has, each attack dented the barrier*

Athena: That's it! Keep it up!!

*Lane watches amused as Adeona nails Lucifer with a laser attack barrage* 

Lane: Waste of my time! Variant Wall!!

*Lucifer repels Adeona, but Adeona still persists*

Lane: *thinks* they just keep coming!

Athena: Blow it away!!

*Lucifers barrier falls as Adeona chases it down*

Athena: This is fun, isn't it? I know im having fun!

~both bladers are sent into a galaxy-like dimension. Athena reaches out to Lane, taking his hand~

Athena: Please... Come home..

~Athena throws her arms around Lane in a tight hug~

Lane: No.... No....

*Lucifer was being pushed back by Adeona*

Lane: NOO!!!

*Athena gasps and lets go of him*

Lane: STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!

*the dimension disappeared and Lucifers dark flare activates*

Lane: LUCIFER!!!!

Athena: Adeona!!

Lane: DESTROY IT WITH VARIANT ARMAGEDDON!!!

Athena: End This! Guide Slash!!!

*Adeona and Lucifer clash at full power, bolts of blue, white, black and purple rain across the factory as the intense clash continues*

Athena: Now Burst!!!

*Lucifer is knocked into the air and to their surprise Lucifer had burst*

Lane: W-what?!?! Impossible!!!!

*Lane was blown off his feet and knocked into the wall*

~Athena walks over to him and holds out her hand~ 

Athena: I beat you. It's over, i took on your flare like you wanted.

*Lane was speechless, he looks down, not meeting Athenas gaze*

Athena: *holds her hand out farther* Come on, stand up. Lets go ho- huh?

*Lanes eyes were glowing a dark purple, his aura flared out. Athena stared at him sadly, she pulled her hand away*

Athena: I see... So thats how it is...

*she turns and leaves the abandoned factory*

~later Athena sat at the beach, thinking about the battle she just had. Just then a blader she recognized sits next to her~

???: Are you ok? Something wrong?

Athena: Huh? N-no im ok. Do I know you?

???: Probably not.

Athena: Im Athena. You?

Delta: Delta. Delta Akane.
