"Y/n..?"

My breathing was getting heavier and heavier, not now...I can't do this now.

"Wait..!"

I heard shoes shuffling from behind me, there was a grip on my arm.

"Billie...let me go now."

"I...I'm sorry.."

She mumbled letting go of my arm, I looked towards her face. Her eyes were staring directly at me.

"I have to go Billie...have fun with Loni.."

I felt tears escaping out of my eyes as I kept walking down the sidewalk. I refused to let her see me cry not now not ever.

Billie's POV

I watched as she disappeared down the sidewalk, I had the urge to follow her...but I didn't want to pry. What she said kept playing in my head...have fun with Loni?

"Bil! Come on so you can order.."

Loni called out of the door, I turned looking at her.

"I have to go."

She frowned and watched as I walked back to my car yanking the door open.

Loni's POV

I sadly watched as Billie pulled out of the parking lot, I walked back inside crossing my arms.

"Where is she..?"

"She left."

"Are you kidding me?"

I sat down shaking my head.

"I'm sorry.."

"Did I miss something?"

Drew asked as she looked between us, I glanced at Zoe.

"I was trying to set her and Bil up...they would be so cute together"

Drew look disgusted when she said that, I felt a pain in my stomach. All I wanted was a chance...

"Yeah that's not gonna happen...she has someone else.."

"Who?"

I looked back at Drew, she looked at me nervously.

Billie's POV

I honked the horn slowing down beside Y/n, she looked over but kept walking. I rolled the window down.

"Come on get in..!"

"Fuck off.."

"What did I even do..?"

She stopped walking causing me to slam on the brakes.

"You...you were gonna double date with Drew and zoe! With Loni!"

I looked at her confused on what the hell she was even talking about.

"What are you talking about-"

"Don't play dumb! Loni told me!"

"Told you what!?"

"Zoe was setting you guys up!"

My chest heaved up and down, Y/n really thinks I would do something like that? That is the last thing I was wanting to happen.

"Y/n...I didn't even know that? Why would I go out with loni..?"

"I don't know! You tell me!?"

"I wouldn't! Now get the fuck in!"

She stomped her way to my car, I leaned over opening the door. She slid in slamming the door.

"Thank you."

Silence.

"You know I dont like loni.."

I heard her sniffle as I started to drive, I awkwardly looked between her and the road.

"I don't even like her as a friend.."

She laughed slightly keeping her gaze out the window, I reached over resting my hand on her thigh she put her hand on top of mine grasping my hand with hers.

"Why the hell were you walking down a random ass sidewalk? You know there's murderers..kidnappers"

"It doesn't matter.."

"You can lie all you want..but I know you're not fine.."

I heard her sigh, she started fidgeting with my rings.

"Loni...mentioned that you were coming to have a date with her...so I left"

I smirked slightly glancing at her.

"So...you were jealous?"

"No I was angry...there's a difference"

"Also correction I was coming to eat..her name wasn't even mentioned.."

My brain couldn't help but wonder, did Drew know about this? Was she in on setting me up with Loni?

"Yeah well knowing my best friend has a crush on you...is weird."

"Hmmm...you're jealous"

"Billie shut up."

"Fine damn...so wanna get taco bell..?"

"As long as you're paying sure.."

I nodded laughing.

"Of course princess"

I wish things could always be this simple...
