Current timeline:

KYLO & REY:

At the end of 'The Rise of Skywalker', Kylo Ren did not die. When Leia stopped projecting her energies to him, Vader spoke within him and got him back on the Dark Path. Kylo Ren killed Rey just as she was about to walk out victorious. Taking control of the Final Order fleet, Kylo destroyed the resistance and established the First Order's power within the galaxy.

HUX:

Hux did not die by the blaster shot, nor did he ever betray Kylo Ren and the First Order. He was sketchy, and had his own goals, but he never backstabbed Kylo. Hux remained as a General.
