Running through the woods is tiring, especially when you don't know the terrain. Like seriously, were the woods magic or something? All that was running through Y/N's mind was wondering if she would get out of the woods alive, which didn't seem so true as the night progressed.
The sky above her was darkening, the stars twinkling, knowing something she didn't. Obviously Y/N didn't pay any attention to the stars, as she was too busy not trying to trip oVER THE TREE ROOTS.
Y/N was giving up hope that she would ever see her child (it was a frog. She didn't own it, the frog just likes the creek that's in her backyard) when she saw a gigantic tree that had a little nook nestled in the center. By the way, the tree was like, dummy thicc. It got that dumptruck. Looked like a Pixar mom.
Anyways, Y/N crawled into the nook, only to find that it was actually way bigger than she thought it was. Deadass reminded her of the TARDIS. From that thought alone, Y/N shivered a little, and almost teared up (not in a sad way though, she just got reminded of early 2010's Tumblr). That was a dark point in her life.
As she was looking back on war-esque memories, Y/N didn't notice the rocks under loosening until she was plummeting about a dozen feet onto a rocky beach, getting multiple scratches and cuts on the way down. She was fine though, so don't worry. Y/N's fallen much farther than that on a good day. Moving on to the mysterious pool that suddenly showed up while Y/N was thinking ('really how rude, I'm just trying to reminisce on the good times and you have the audacity to just show up like that? Mysterious entities these days.'), she decided to suspiciously creep towards the odd looking pool of water, like trying to get a stray cat to trust you so you could pet them. Then she threw all caution to the wind thinking 'it's just a pool of water, what could it do to me' literally looking straight at the water. Now that she thought about it, the whole scene reminded her about Mako Mermaids.
Marching up to the pool, Y/N knelt down to the water and slapped it, but she didn't expect what happened to, well, happen. As soon as her hand hit the water, instead of hearing the nice satisfying schlap sound, her hand, and by extension, the rest of her body, got sucked in, very quickly too, by the water. As she was getting pulled down, she could've sworn she felt something like a hand pulling her down, but when she checked there was nothing there.
After a few seconds, Y/N started getting pulled down faster and faster, but all Y/N could think about was the cliff scene from Twilight New Moon. She didn't even like the series, yet she somehow knew ALL of the scenes, and it really bugged her. Back to the, technically life-threatening, situation she was presented with, she found that struggling wouldn't do anything to slow her phantom captor. That sounded really cool, heh, imagine captor instead of opera and you'd have an oscar-winning movie.
Y/N was losing air, and fast. She wasn't on the swim team, or did stunts like that Marley Quinn one is Suicide Squad (you know the one) so she was struggling. As soon as she was close to passing out, she felt herself getting rocketed into the air like a water jetpack.
She hit the rocky ground very disoriented, and as soon as her head hit the ground, she passed out.
It took about an hour, but Y/N FINALLY woke up, and she was very annoyed. Mainly because her head hurt like a bitch, but there was a portion (a very small portion really) that realised she was in an unfamiliar environment, and while that little section of her brain was yelling at her to see that she was not where she was supposed to be, Y/N just ignored it in favor of looking for her phone, and what a surprise, it hadn't fallen out when she got propelled into the air, and it was completely dry! Ignoring how weird that was, Y/N looked up and finally realised that she was in a different environment.
Y/N stood up, brushing off all of the rocks and other shit that gathered on her while she was unconscious, and looked for an exit. She saw one a few feet up, decided on trying to get out of this hellscape.
