Y/n Astaseul

The girl who rose with and from stars as the moon blessed her with eternal youth and beauty.

A blessing she was.

To live for eternity under the watchful eyes of the higher gods and as the Goddess of pleasure, lust, hatred, protection, healing and the moon.

Being a Goddess wasn't easy, at least that's what she thought.

She glowed like the goddess she was.

You could see all the types of night blooming flowers she gave life too.

She loved them all.

Her eyes were closed as she listened to the moving water.

They were like a calming lullaby.

She sat there alone as her head was tilted upwards.

"It's time."

It was time for her to raise the

moon.

An orb of soft light emitting from her very existence,

such a soothing sight for the sore eyes,
bluishly radiant,

lighting up a dark night with the hope that radiates through the dark hours of one's life.

She cherished it,

loved it

and protected it.

The moon she always raised up the lonely sky.

To keep the isolated stars company.

To keep the lonely children safe.

Always lighting up a passage to the abandoned souls.

Keeping the robins out of harm.

The seas at peace.

And the humans asleep.

She guides them.

She watched them all from the star littered sky.

The stars.

She always thought they resembled precious jewels.

They were priceless.

Jewels men could not take from her.

She could shield them.

Jewels she could admire.

She was fond of them.

Keep them safe at all cost.

She opened her eyes.

"Warm."

She said,

"So warm."

She touched it,

"So radiant"

She hugged it,

"So small."

She chuckled.

"Go back little one."

And with a flick of her wrist
the star was back where it belonged.

High above.

Where people could admire them.

From afar.

She stood up and gazed at her surroundings.

"So tired."

A servant of hers handed her a white clean cloth for her to dry off.

Many more soon came and helped her wear the dress they made.

It was a white dress made with the softest cotton that reached her ankles.

As she exited her glass gazebo and began her way towards her shrine,

slow and peaceful steps and

arrived at the very top of her shrine where she will be doing her job, all her servants bowing low to her before leaving the Goddess be.

She looked up above at the sun who was already descending.

Y/n raised her arms with the grace only gods possessed towards the sky and slowly lifted the reason of her very existence.

"The moon must go up above,
in all its glory."
