Chapter 13: field trip

Jessie s POV
As we all get to school early in the morning I see Isaac, Bella looking at Edward and I , Isaac smiles at me and I smile back

We all hand in our permission slips and get on the bus Isaac gets on the bus with us and sits next to me , we talk the whole ride there , soon we get to the green house and get off the bus and walk through it, I hear Bella talking to Edward about letting the van crush her and saving himself regret for saving her, I roll my eyes at how dramatic she is

Bella then gets asked to prom by Mike which she declines as she tells him a lie about going out of town to visit her mom . Isaac gets asked to prom by Lauren as he declines saying he already has a girl in mind that he wants to ask but he's scared to ask her

As the trip is over we go back to the school and Jasper and I are outside as Isaac comes up to me

"Can we talk" he asks

Isaac s POV

"Can we talk" I ask Jessie she nods

I take her to the woods and she follows
We stop in the middle of the woods
I take a deep breathe

" I know what you are" I tell her as I look at her

"Say it... out loud"she says to me

"Vampire" I tell her

" are you scared of me?" She asks me

"No" I tell her

" I have a difficult past" she says

" hey if you don't wanna tell me it's fine, but if you do then I'm here to listen" I caress her cheek in my hand

" sit here" she tells me so I sit on a tree stump

"So, my brother Jasper and I didn't have the same uh.... upbringing as our adopted siblings" she takes off her leather jacket
I look on her arms and there are bites everywhere

" battle scars, all the confederate army gave Jasper and I it's unless against newborn vampires that we had to train, but still Jasper and I never lost a fight....." she pauses

"Until" I ask her and she breathes

"until we met certain immortals Maria and Diego, we were the youngest Major and sergeant in the Texas Calvary" I say in my
southern accent as I take an un-needed breathe

"Seriously sister, you're telling our story to him without me" Jasper asks coming out of the woods I smirk as he sits next to me and takes off his brown leather jacket to show Isaac the battle scars

"Anyway, we were riding our horses back from Galveston to evacuate the woman and children when we saw them we came across three immortal woman and one male, being from Texas and raised by our ma and pa to be respectful as we were we mounted our horses and greeted the women and Maria, their leader I suppose you can call her that was building an army for territory it's very common in the south" I say as I close my eyes

"We got bit as we trained her newborns and it was our job to kill them, an endless occupation since she never let them live beyond their first year, and if you found you're mate then you have no use in her army because if you're mate got hurt you would be distracted and will lose, my ability to control emotions and Jessie s abilities to inflict pain, sensory deprivation, and being an empath as well, served them very well until one day" Jasper sighs

"As I refused we to use my 'gifts' she raped me and when she was 'busy' with Jasper she would send someone else by the name of Diego to do it, a couple decades later after we had enough of fighting we came across our friends Peter and Charlotte and Jasper bit them and a few years ago we left to live with them" I say as I breathe

" wow" Isaac says

"In the year of 1948 Peter told us to go to a diner in Philadelphia where we met Alice , she's the one that told us that there was other way, she's also Jaspers mate, I still don't trust most of the cullens, but we went with her to Carlisle our adopted father and here we are" Jasper says

"Jasper and I were Maria's and Diegos puppets and sexual slaves for a long time I didn't trust for a long time,  until I met you, the only people I trusted were Jasper, Emmett, and Rosalie of course and Peter and Charlotte, though it took me some time" I say to Isaac

"Wow I'm sorry you both had to go through that" Isaac says

I cover up my bite marks

" hey these show how brave you two are, you and Jasper both don't need to hide your bravery either of you" Isaac says to us to which we just nod and smile

"Would you like to meet Peter and Charlotte" I ask Him He nods

" my family and I think of ourselves as Vegetarians because we only survive on the blood of animals, but it's like living on tofu, it's never fully satisfying imagine what it would be like for Edward to taste Bella's blood, but however her blood drives Edward and myself and my sister crazy insane that's why he left to get better control of it because we are both empathetic"Jasper tells Isaac

"Can I ask questions?" Asked Isaac.

"Sure" Jasper says

"Does a person have to be dying to become like you" Isaac asks

" no, Edward was first to become a vampire, after Carlisle of course, he was dying in Chicago of the Spanish influenza, then Esme was next she had lost a child due to being abused, so she took to this life easily , she's Carlisle s mate,

then I believe Rosalie was next , she was walking home late one night after visiting a friend and while she was walking the streets even though it was dark out, Royce King , who she was engaged to at the time , had a bunch of friends with him and he was drinking to celebrate the engagement before their wedding and he and his friends gang raped and beat her to where she appeared to be dead , she would tell you that she wanted to be at the time.

until Carlisle found her , he smelled the blood and changed her hoping that she was Edwards mate but she was not.

Then Emmett came along , he was mauled by a bear and then Rosalie saved him, she brought him back to Carlisle to change him.

Alice I don't know to much about her I do know that she was bit by a random person but she doesn't know who , then she found Jasper and I and then we are here" I explain

"Woah that's a lot of information " Isaac says

"Sorry vampire brain keeps adding information".

"We also don't sleep, or eat human food" Jasper says

I look up and I see Alice and I growl at her until Isaac rubs my back then I calm down , Emmett , Rosie, Bella and Edward joined us in story time

"Sorry I told all of your stories without asking" I say to my siblings

"It's ok" Emmett says

"Alice can see the future that's how she saw you and Isabella, Edward can Read minds, although he can't read her thoughts our friends Peter and Charlotte, Peter has a gift of information he explains it as just knowing shit and Charlotte is a siren much like Rosalie, Emmett is a tracker and you already know what mine and Jasper abilities are, Carlisle has super self control , his wife Esme doesn't have a gift " I explain.
Isaac looks around and smiles

"Oh and Jasper and I have another side to us that helps us fight or when we find our mate his is known as the major or the god of war and mine is known as the midnight the sergeant the second in command, Peter and Charlotte are known as the captain and the leuitent, so if you see us with our hands behind our back and our posture change that is our other side and mostly for dangerous or pleasurable stuff like finding our mates and fighting , so do not be afraid when our eyes change from gold to either pitch black, blackish red, or just red " I explain again.

"Ma mate is this beautiful lady behind me Alice Cullen" Jasper says .

"My mate is the beautiful Rosalie Hale " Emmett explains

"Bella is my mate and my blood singer" Edward says

" you are my mate" I say to Isaac

"Mine is this beautiful lady next to me, hi my name is Carlisle Cullen and this is Esme" Carlisle says

I look up and smiles at my parents
