"I know, I just..." I didn't have to be weary with what I said because Issac didn't have me attach the tracking chip. "Miss my parents." I mumbled. They both shared a look with each other before looking back at me. I think they were reading each other's mind or something.

There was a moment of silence before Devin let out a sigh. "Do you want to see them?" He stoically asked. A part of me wanted to say yes, actually a big part of me wanted to say yes, but it felt wrong. As if I was betraying Issac. What if they take me back, away from Issac?

"I don't know." I breathed out, wiping the remnants of my tears off my face.

"Alright, don't be such a buzzkill. I didn't spend over a thousand dollars just for you to cry and weep." Liam's scolding voice reminded me of my mother's.

I honestly felt guilty because Liam spent so much money on me. I tried protesting, but he interrupted me every single time until I gave up. This is why I love him so much. He's persistent and stubborn when I try to refuse anything from him.

The rest of the day, we spent watching movies. Horror movies. I'm not going to get into details about that because last time I saw someone get sawed from their 'vajayjay', but it was a jolly time. Really was, honestly. They gave me more insight on their plans, how Alex would be joining them too. Devin had a mansion in Calabasas where they were going to move in. Surprisingly Alex was on board with this big move too because apparently his best friend was moving to L.A so I guess that's a big win.

I'm not sure what was going on inside me, but a part of me felt crushed knowing that Liam and I would be so far away from each other. I guess we'd eventually go our separate ways, but I didn't expect it to be so soon.

"Alright, Issac is here, bye guys." I gave them a half smile and a weak wave as my goodbye. This was going to be the last time I'll see them for a while.

As I was about to unlock the door, Liam got up and grabbed my wrist. I turned around and stared into his eyes. His expression was unreadable, but mines was clear as day. If this went on any longer, I would've start bursting out in tears. "The offer still stands Troy. You have until the 27th to decide." I gave him a nod before turning the knob to unlock the door. I picked up the heavy boxes and made my way out.

Walking out of his drive way, reminiscing on everything we went though. I know he's not leaving, but it feels like it. This is usually how most friendships end. Because one moves and then we slowly become more and more distant.

I finally made my way out of his drive way and gave his house one last look before entering Issac's car.

"You seem a little down today, did they do anything to you?" Issac asked which sounded more like an interrogation, but I don't care. I'm not in the mood right now. I remained silent. "Troy, are you okay?" He asked again, this time softly. We had a while until we got back to my mansion and I didn't bring my earbuds.

I let out a despondent sigh, but wiped it all away and put on an ambiguously timid smile. I opened my mouth to speak, but only hesitation sounds came out. With one deep breath, I asked him. "Can I go to L.A with Liam and De-?"

"No." He deadpanned, interrupting me. His eyes were still on the road, but yet I still could feel his menacing stare. I honestly wasn't surprised though. "You should already know that." He added.

Another moment of silence washed up among us. I really wished I brought my earbuds, but I forgot them at the mansion.

"Can I see my parents?" I asked even more hesitantly.

Silence.

It wasn't until Issac hit a red light did he turn to face me. "There's no point Troy. You know that." This time he was staring at me and likewise, it was piercing through me. He has this thing where if I ask him 'questions I already know the answer to' as he quotes, he'll stare at me, dead in the eyes. Earlier was different because he was driving, but right now was no different than the other times.
