Chapter 1: First Semester Final Exam & Suggestion!?

3rd POV:

It was the day of the final exam. Izuku thought things would finally be different at UA but things weren't. Things never got better in regards to school. Izuku groaned as he hated getting up in the morning for the class since he knew he would get glared at by his teacher or blamed for things when Bakugo started shit... It was the normal thing he suffered throughout his life. He knew the final exam today and he felt like shit today. His body was sore because Recovery Girl refused to heal him a few days ago due to injuries he received in training. She was taking the policy that Izuku was getting injured too much and he needed to learn that he couldn't rely on her for everything. He was paired up with Bakugo during that training which as always he only receives injuries on the days he's paired up with Bakugo since it gives Bakugo a perfect excuse to go too far but not get punished for it. Yes, that is right. Bakugo and not Kacchan. Izuku only calls Bakugo Kacchan in front of others since he wants to keep up appearances but after he tried to KILL him in the battle trial at the start of the year, Izuku stopped calling him Kacchan in his mind and only did it for others. 'God... I wish I could talk to dad more but the time difference makes it so hard.' Izuku thought. 

Now don't get Izuku wrong! He loves his mother but she is... a helicopter parent. She became like that while he was quirkless and the divorce happened with his father since his mother didn't want to move to America when he got a far better paying job. She received main custody for Izuku in the divorce. Though his father was smart and slipped in a section that she agreed to that Izuku could request the guardianship to change to either parent if he desired to. Izuku could request legally to have his custody given to his father and she couldn't fight it due to the contract she signed in the divorce since she never thought Izuku would use it since he took after so much. The main reason Izuku never used it was because he wouldn't be able to go to UA anymore if he went to America with his father which was his dream.

Soon, Izuku finished getting dressed and went down to eat breakfast in the dorms. (UA made the dorms after the U.S.J in this AU. As such, they already live on campus.) Izuku saw Shouto in the kitchen and helped him finish the breakfast. Shouto knew a good portion of Izuku's past unlike all of his other friends. They shared their pain. Izuku's pain was from his childhood and formerly being quirkless while Shouto's pain was from the abuse of his father though Endeavor was getting better and the family was healing since the sports festival. Shouto's mother had even returned home and Endeavor created another section onto the house so she could go into it and not have him around. This helped the family heal a lot since it showed he really wanted to improve. Shouto even came out to his family that he was gay which Endeavor accepted but it was rough for a short period but he accepted in the end.

Everyone had come down for breakfast and Bakugo had yelled about 'shitty Deku cooking food and it likely wasn't even good.' as he always did. Shouto gave him a glare but no one else did anything. Shouto knew that Izuku didn't want him doing much but Izuku wished some of his classmates would tell Bakugo to stop or to shut up with some of the things he does. Soon everyone made it to the classroom and they were told that they had the physical portion of the final exam which they all knew about and Izuku was dreading since as it stands they were paring Izuku up with Bakugo a large number of times that pointed towards them doing it here. 'They are trying to use me to improve his communication skills and ability to use teamwork and it's compromising my education!' Izuku thought angrily. Shouto just rubbed his back since they would always confine in each other and help each other emotionally. They weren't dating and it was all platonic when they cuddled or hugged each other. They just became really great emotional support for each other due to knowing each other's pasts. Shouto even knows about One For All without All Might knowing that he knows! Izuku still didn't agree with All Might forbidding him from telling others and after telling Shouto everything else he told him about One For All as well since he knew so much already! 'If you're going all in, might as well go ALL in.' Izuku thought that day as he told the truth of his quirk which Shouto has come to dislike All Might a bit.
