George glanced at his monitor as the screen slowly came into focus. He tested his microphone and face cam before tweeting:
George @GeorgeNootFound
IM LIVE
https://www.twitch.tv/GeorgeNotFound
He started his stream shortly after joining the discord call with his friends and was greeted with warm welcomes and donations from his fans.
~
Halfway through the stream, he received a notification on his phone. He looked down at his phone to see a hilarious meme sent to him from Dream.
"What the hell," George said hysterically.
"I'm going to show this to the stream," George said between laughs.
Dream wheezed uncontrollably in response.
"Guys hurry up, we're trying to beat Minecraft here," Bad urged.
"Do you have food? I'm going to die to these mobs," Sapnap asked.
"Wait hold on, I'm coming," Bad said.
George lifted his phone towards his face cam as the vision came into focus. Unintentionally, his finger swiped left, revealing another picture of a boy with dirty blonde hair, green eyes, and freckles. George didn't realise at first, but when he pulled his phone back from the camera, he noticed what had happened. Shocked, he glanced at his second monitor, looking at his stream which was now spamming #LEAKED nonstop.
"George, are you there?" Dream asked suddenly, unaware of the fact that George had left the call.
"Hello?" Dream repeated, opening Discord.
"Did George leave already?" he asked Sapnap and Bad, but was greeted with a short silence before Sapnap spoke up.
"Dream? Is this you?" Sapnap asked, sending Dream a screenshot from a trending hashtag.
"What do you mean, is this you?" Dream replied, a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
"No seriously Dream, look at the picture I sent you," he replied solemnly.
Dream glanced at his phone for a split second before he was completely lost for words. He exited out of Minecraft, Bad and Sapnap doing the same shortly after.
"W-what?" Dream murmured.
"How did that get leaked?" he asked, wanting an explanation. He felt rather uneasy, knowing that none of his friends would be that stupid to send that picture across the internet.
"Well look at the description Dream," Sapnap replied in the same solemn tone.
The description read: "Streamer/YouTuber GeorgeNotFound reveals a picture that is thought to be the Minecraft speedrunner Dream."
He sat in silence before speaking up.
"You mean George did?" Dream asked suddenly, opening a new tab and going onto Twitch.
George's recent stream had ended only five minutes ago, yet it was nowhere on his page. He scrolled through George's videos and thought that it must have been deleted. But, as a matter of fact, he knew that there must've been clips of his stream somewhere online. So he began looking on YouTube, muttering to himself in a stressed tone.
"I mean, it was an accident right? George wouldn't be that stupid," Dream said.
"Well, we might have to ask him about it, but George stopping his stream so suddenly after that made it hella sus," Sapnap said.
"What are you going to do, Dream? The whole fandom is awaiting your response, are you going to deny that it was you?" Bad asked.
"I need to talk with George first, don't speak about it to anyone yet," Dream replied, leaving the call.
He received no response from George that day.

Clay couldn't stand George ignoring him anymore, and decided to take action and FaceTime Nick and Darryl.
"Guys I need help," Clay said.
"George hasn't responded to any of my messages and calls, nor has he responded to any tweets or suspicions online,"
"Well I mean, what are you even supposed to do in that situation?" Darryl said.
"Are you mad?" Nick replied.
"George just fucked up and leaked your face permanently to the whole community,"
"Language," Darryl replied unenthusiastically. He was clearly more worried about Clay and George than caring about the words Nick was using.
Everyone sat in silence for a few seconds.
"Should I respond? Or should I just keep the situation silent? I thought that the situation was going to take care of itself overnight but I was clearly wrong," Clay asked.
In fact, the situation had gotten even worse throughout the last day. George was getting a lot of hate from his fans for 'leaking' Clay's face, although they were still unable to confirm whether that picture was real or not.
"Well I think we all are more concerned for George at the moment, he's probably getting heavily flamed for that," Darryl said, looking up from his phone and staring into the distance.
"Do you think everyone thinks it's real? Or do you guys think I have a slight chance of denying it without sounding that suspicious," Clay said while looking at his Twitter.
"I was actually shocked that the fandom got your appearance practically on point. Like no joke, you look exactly like the guy in the fanart. If you ask me, then I think you don't have a chance," Nick replied.
"Well then I think the only solution is flying to George's house," Darryl joked half-heartedly.
"That's not actually a bad idea," Clay replied.
"Oh come on now, it's not that severe right? George lives all the way in the UK," Nick said glumly.
"Also, if you go out in public, there is a huge chance of you being recognised due to that photo, so I think you're going to mess up the situation even more," Nick continued.
"We have another problem as well, everyone on the Dream SMP is also wanting information, what do we tell them? George hasn't been online since his last stream,"
"Don't tell them anything yet," Clay replied harshly.
"Is it okay for all of our careers to be on hold for a week so that we can take care of this situation?" Clay asked.
"What do you mean 'our' I thought this was about you and George," Darryl replied, looking back towards the screen in sudden interest.
"We're friends, right? You guys are also being tagged like crazy on Twitter dot com so don't think you aren't involved," Clay said with a hint of annoyance.
"I guess," Nick replied.
"Oh okay then, I'll book the plane tickets, all you guys have to do is pack a few things and get to the airport tomorrow. I'll text you guys the details later, bye!" Clay said, shortly after leaving the call, not giving Darryl or Nick an option to decline.
Clay knew George didn't leak his face on purpose. He wasn't mad, rather worried for his friend. George always was too hard on himself, he probably didn't think it through before isolating himself from social media. For the next twelve hours, Clay focused on getting his belongings in a bag after booking himself, Darryl, and Nick a flight to the UK.
