"Good morning!" I greeted, a smile on my face even though they couldn't see it. "How has the universe and the Gods been to you all lately? Everyone doing okay?"

I took the time to read over any of the comments I could catch in the fast-paced chat. "That's so great! Someone has been clean for two days. Ooo and someone else just got some icecream! I hope it was cookies and cream," I said. "Someone just got engaged! Congratulations and I hope you guys last long."

I picked out a few more comments with almost all of them being positive. I guess the universe had been giving out blessings.

"So no one asked, but I got a new thermal and I love it so much! It's got a little hippo on it with like flowers around it. I'll post a picture for you guys on Twitter," I explained.

Said thermal was sitting at the corner of my streaming desk full of a freshly made smoothie. I usually made them in the morning, but every other Sunday was my designated cleaning day and my stream was set for later in the day.

Pulling up the discord server, I messaged a few of my friends asking if they were up to play any games. "I don't really have anything planned for today's stream, so I'm asking around right now if anyone is up to anything. Maybe we'll play a game or they'll come on and we can just chat."

I tried to think of a story I could tell while waiting for responses. My life was pretty boring and I struggled to think of something interesting.

"Oh! I'm thinking about getting another dog. I feel like I'm ready for one now. Maybe a labrador or a husky. I'm still debating though because it's a lot of money for a dog ya know. I might get a turtle or a hamster instead. Start small," I rambled, clicking over to my discord to check my messages. "Oh my fucking god. Sapphire has been bugging me to play this game with her for like... two months and I feel so bad. It's really just never been a good time for me to meet new people and shit, but she says they're playing right now so I might join. Would you guys be cool with that? You guys have been asking for it, but that's mostly because of that guy."

The chat erupted with support for me playing. It seemed as if my whole community had been wanting me to play as soon as it came out. I just didn't do well with people and hadn't had the mental capacity to handle it, but today was a good day.

"Give me one second while I figure all of this out with Sapphire," I said, opening our private text thread.
