Secrets, Lies and The Truth [ book 1]

The night everything changed

     It was a bright and sunny day when I was on my way to see her friend's at the Mysic Grill. I had been walking for around 20 minutes but I didn't really mind it since I really liked to embrace the nature around me. You may be wondering why I didn't  just drive well... 

-Flashback to the 3rd of February 2021-

Lily was on her way to see her boyfriend Jake who she had been with for almost a year now. She walked through the front door of his house when she heard another voice and female voice that she couldn't  identify. She rushed inside seeing Jake and a  girl.
"Jake what's going on and who is this?" I say with a shaky voice.

"LILY ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!"

"Then what is it!?"

"Jakey who is this girl?" The other girl asked.

"Jakey? I'm his girlfriend Lily who are you?"

"Ahahah what Jakey hasn't got a girlfriend that's why he is hooking up with me"

"WHAT! JAKE TELL ME SHE IS LYING!"
"Lily i'm so sorry but she is saying the truth and actually we needed to talk anyway."

"No need U CHEATED ON ME!"

"I know so I need to say this to you I am breaking up with you!"

"Your w-what." Lily said with a tear rolling down her cheek

"I'm sorry but it has to be done u see Kate is just way better than you. Goodbye Lily!"

I  ran out of the house and got into my car. My tears are running down faster and faster now. But as I  was is driving over Wickery Bridge my car begins to loose control, the car begins to roll down a hill then hits a tree.

Luckily, I was ok just had a few scratches. I frantically found my phone and called my best friend Jeremy and told him what just happend. About 5 minutes later he found me and took me back to his place.

Jeremy and I  have been friends since we were little me and Elena were best friends along with Caroline and Bonnie. Jeremy had told them what happend and they all came over to make sure i was ok.

"Guys i'm fine just a little upset that's all."Lily explained

"I say we go kill that piece of shit!" Yelled Damon and Kai

"I'm down!"I yelled back to them

"WHAT NO! Damon, Lily, Kai we are not killing anyone even if he did just cheat on Lily we have to be the better people here,"stefan said whilst getting a tub of ice-cream for me.

"UGHHH FINEEEE!!!"All three of us said  looking sad since we can't kill anyone.

All of a sudden Lily could hear three voices screaming from outside the door of the Gilbert's house.

"LILYYYYY LILYYYYY!!"

"ARE YOU HEREEEEEEE!!"

"LILYYYYYY!!"

Suddenly the door slams open and in come Caroline, Bonnie and Elena and they rush over to give me a huge hug

"Guys guysss I can't breath!"

"Ohhh sorry!!" They all said in unison

"It's ok" I said with a little giggle.

"Guys I'm ok now, but if you don't mind Bourbon, Ripper can you please take me home."

"Of course kiddo."Damon calmly said.

"Bye guys!"

"Byeeee" everyone yelled.
   
              -back to present day-

I had finally arrived at the grill. As I opened the door I saw a lot of people there. I forgot it was a saturday and it is usually busy. I began to scan the room until I noticed some familiar faces.
"Lily over here!"

It was Jeremy I went over and gave him a huge hug.

"Hey Jer!" I said after releasing from his arms.

I went over to everyone giving them hugs since I didn't know when I would see them next.

"Lily do you have to go" Elena had said with a tears rolling down her face. And when I turned to face her I saw that Bonnie and Caroline had also started to cry.

"Ohh guysss u know I have to go it's not safe for me to stay here" I began to cry after saying that. They came up to me and we just hugged for what felt forever.
We sat down and talked, laughing ,drinking and having fun one last time for hours. We all went home. Damon, Stefan and I all live at the Salvatore Boarding school so we went home together. When we got home I was so tired and a little drunk Stefan decided to put me to bed.

The day I was dreading the most came rolling over. I had woke up and got dressed in some high waisted black jeans and a black crop top and not going to forget my leather jacket that Damon had gotten me for my 16th birthday. I sprinted down the stairs and walked out the front door to see all of my friends standing there. The girls started to cry again making me cry and we all hugged not wanting to let go of each other until Damon had said to was time to go. I gave everyone one last hug and was heading towards Damon's blue Camaro when I felt someone grab my hand. They turned me around and I saw who it was.
"Wait Lily I want u to have something" Jeremy said with a tear rolling down his cheek.

"Jer what is it?" I said nervously because he usually hits me when I take something from his room.

He had pulled out a small box and gave it to me. I opened it to find a silver bracelet with engravings inside it said  together forever it was what we always said to each other.

"Jeremy this is beautiful" I said with tears in my eyes.

Then he pulled out his arm revealing another silver bracelet.

"I saw it and thought of you and I wanted you to have something to remind you of me when your miss me because you and I know you will."

"Jeremy thank you so much" I say pulling him into another hug one last time.

"I love u guys see you soon" I say with tears.

I got into the car with Damon and i waved goodbye. It was an hour later when Damon arrived at the bus station.

"We're here Kiddo" Damom said with a sad tone in his voice.

" I hope Klaus is right about this"

"I think it's the best thing to do for your safety"  Damon says hugging me tight then letting me go.

"Be safe kiddo I love you and I will see you soon" Damon says this with tears in his eyes.

"I will, I love you to Bourbon. Please come get me soon" I say whilst my eyes beginning to create a pool.

He comes to the doors of the bus and kisses my head. I took my seat and looked out of the window to see Damon looking at me I wave one last time and I started to cry silently trying not to look back.
                                                                            

Hi guys I hope your liking the first chapter of my first book. I've never written a book before so this is something new for me. Sorry if there is any mistakes.
I won't post all the time since I am still in school but i will try my best.
