Before we begin, Happy birthday Taehyung-ah ( yeah I know , am late but whatevs) and Happy New year bitches!

sometimes we never realise that we have reached the bottom end until it is too late, we wish to find what is left of us ,but the hand that needs to pull us out is not there, then what is the point of even searching it? That hand was supposed to be our hope, but waiting for it is hard because we may never know when it is too late, so we give up. 

At this point in his life Jin is supposed to be happy yet not a single bit of it is present because he lost himself from pretending to be someone who makes everyone happy except himself, how can you make others happy when you, yourself aren't? By wearing a mask, a mask that Jin has perfected till to this day.

Jin is a lot of things- a celebrity, a singer, a jokester, an entertainer , the confident king, the old man with heart of a child, the holder of 400 different dad jokes and so much more ,but then who is Kim Seokjin? A mystery. 

Kim Seokjin is a quiet man, a man who doesn't truly express himself, a man who knows he's falling but too selfless to ask for a hand, the man who knows he is beautiful but  does not have the voice to express it, yes the confidence is there but how do you know whether he is telling it to himself or the world? The question is asked by himself too, the man who doesn't lean on shoulder, rather lends them, a man who walks into the ocean for the honest reason of drowning, the man who is intelligent but never brags, a man who is understanding and non judgmental, the man who feels that he is not good enough.

Was he suicidal? No but he sure was tired, the lonely nights he spends wetting his face, not because he is happy or sad, he just feels empty, he doesn't know where to go , what to feel, when to feel and this circle of falling in circles never seems to end. It feels like a cage made by him, only for himself, he doesn't have the key for the room is too dark to find. He is just tired of existing as someone else, although he doesn't know how to revert back to himself so he pretends to be someone who he is not.

He just wants the light to guide himself back in and say hello to himself again, who is not in the cage and lives without a mask that he hasn't shed in so long, but will everyone accept who he truly is? That question remains to be solved. 

No one knows what is going to happen in the future, everyone should know this much that- live in a future where you don't need the mask because u are more beautiful as yourself.
