Y/n's POV;

.

.

I made my way down past the millions of buildings and little shops on my way home. It was very dark out, but there was hardly any people on the streets and around at this time so I felt partially safe. I walked with my head down and my hands in my pockets trying not to attract any attention to myself whats so ever. I turned and looked across the street from the left, to the right. No one was coming so I made my way across the street, suddenly a car came speeding down not even paying attention to me.

My eyes widened and I quickly got out of the way, the car tires screeched against the pavement making a complete stop next to me, I had just barley missed the car. I growled angrily, I quickly made my way to the car. I smacked the the car hood, the pain stung through my hand but I didn't care. "What the hell man! Your could've hit me! What the fuck is wrong with you, huh?" I yelled at the man as he rolled his window down.

He opened his mouth to say something but just before he could the sound of police sirens approached us, I eyed them as they got out and made their way to us. "Ma'am could you step back, please?" The officer asked. I sighed heavily, as I eyed the man and took a step back.

He turned back to the man, "license please." He stated. The man started off as the loud music rang out of the car. "Could you turn down the stereo." The officer calmly asked the man.

"Sure," he started as he leaned over and turned the stereo down, "I guess it was a wittle noisy." He said with a soft chuckle. I raised my eyebrows, "a wittle?" The officer eyed the man. "Okay I'm taking you down the precinct. Breath, blood, or urine." The officer asked giving him his options as he didn't need anymore proof that this man was highly drunk.

"No thanks, I'm full." The man remarked with a heavy laugh. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms looking at the other police officers. One of them pulled me over as the other officer had gotten the man out of the car. "Hey girl, I'm real sorry." He said to me slurring his words. I gave him a look and redirected my attention back to the officer who pulled me aside.

"Hey sweetie, what's your relation to that man over there." The officer asked me as he pointed to the man getting into the police car behind me.

"No relation. He just almost hit me while speeding." I said through my teeth still very agitated.

"Alright, would you like to press charges against him?" The officer asked me.

I sighed before responding, "not tonight." The officer nodded his head. Eventually he had taken me down to the police station to get a written report of what happened. They then took me home since I was a ways far from where I lived at this point. I thanked them then immediately went to go lay down and attempt to go to sleep.

The next morning;

.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

I groaned as I slammed the alarm clock with my hand to make it shut up. My head was pounding as a harsh headache made its way to me. Luckily, I didn't have school today, so I could take all the time in the world to get ready, not that I have to. I got up to get changed. I pulled on a warm lilac long-sleeved shirt with some black sweat pants. I brushed through my hair; and went down stairs. I called out for my mother.

 No response.

I rolled my eyes and went to her room, I opened her door, and of course she wasn't there.
