"S-Sasuke...please...I need..." She was growing desperate and began to grind her curvaceous hips against his own eagerly; trying to entice him further but he shook his head in the negative as his dark eyes shown with slight disappointment and regret. Sakura felt her insides twist painfully as she met his gaze with one of confusion.

"No Sakura, we can't. Not...I can't do it this time." Sasuke slowly lowered his confused lover down the length of his body until she was once again resting on the souls of her feet. Sakura somehow managed to hold herself up on shaky legs as she watched him take a step back from her; though he didn't leave her personal space just yet. She swallowed slowly as a large lump formed in the back of her throat.

"Is... is it someone else Sasuke or...did I... did I do something wrong?" Her anxiety mounted as she waited for his response; but she didn't have to wait long.

He quickly dismissed her worries by leaning into her and press a soft kiss against her damp lips. "It's definitely NOT you, Sakura," he whispered to her kindly. "...and it's not someone else. I can't be late again. The last time I took to... long, my boss almost fired me. I had to come up with an excuse for it and I don't think he would believe me a second time."

"Oh... okay," Sakura blushed deeply before adjust her clothing and hair as she tried to give herself something to do so that she could try and hide her growing disappointment. She then moved to the side and unlocked her door before opening it once more. She proceeded to grab the money that she owed him for her food, along with the actual tip for his services this time, and handed it over to him.

Sasuke took the money for her meal but refused the tip she offered him. She tilted her head to the side and looked at him curiously. "Don't you want the tip? I mean... since we didn't..."

He shook his head no. "How about you give me your number instead?"

"My... number," Sakura was slightly confused as he had never asked for her number before and she wasn't really sure why he would want it now.

"Yeah, you do have a phone, don't you?" His thin lips pulled up into a soft smirk as he stuffed her money into his pants pocket while patiently waiting by the opened doorway. Sakura reached for a pen and paper before scribbling her digits onto it along with her name. Sakura couldn't stop herself from putting a small heart beside it; just for a cute little touch, she thought as she handed it to him with a gentle smile of her own. Sasuke looked at it and nodded his head appreciatively before folding it into quarters then putting it into his pocket as well.

The young woman stood on her tiptoes, eager to feel his soft lips on hers once again but instead of kissing her, Sasuke simply flicked her forehead teasingly before turning to walk out the door. She lowered her feet back to the ground and stood with a disappointed look on her face. She noticed that he didn't look back as he shut the wooden door behind him; not even bothering to say any form of fair well as he left her in her apartment; alone and unsatisfied.

Sakura felt completely defeated as she grabbed her food off the table, where Sasuke had placed it earlier, and made her way slowly back to the warm comfort of her plush couch. As soon as she sat down however, she felt her phone buzz in her back pocket and pulled it out before glancing at the unknown number that was blinking brightly across the screen. Feeling confused, she clicked on the green answer button and brought it to her ear.

"Uh...hello," she answered with slight trepidation.

"Dinner. Tomorrow. 7:30."

She gasped as her grip on her phone tightened. Sakura knew that voice; it was... "S-Sasuke..."

"Hn. Wear something casual." CLICK.

Sakura pulled her phone away from her ear and sat it down on her coffee table gently. Slowly, the Haruno's soft smile turned into a wider grin and she began to squeal excitedly as she jumped up from her couch to dance around the living room in an erratic manner. If someone were to come by her place and see her in that moment, she was certain that they would say she was completely insane; but Sakura couldn't find it in herself to really care.

Sakura had a date.

With the same exact boy that had been bringing her dinner for the past three months.

The same exact boy that she had secretly been crushing on since the moment she saw him...

...and the same exact boy that had been secretly pleasuring her in the comfort of her apartment... for the last two weeks.

She simply couldn't believe her luck!

Sakura quickly reached for her phone and saved his name and number into her contacts before eagerly digging into her dinner. The anticipation of what tomorrow would bring made it very hard for her to sleep that night.
