I'm highly suggesting that you don't read this until it's edited because it is so fucked up.

So the day had finally come by and today was the day I was departing to Tennessee. I still could not believe that I was chosen and accepted and the shock was still there right after I opened the letter I had received from my Principal.

It was written out like this -Congratulations Miss Diamonds! You are chosen to represent your school for the program and are able to experience a duration of three months schooling in Franklin High School, Tennessee, starting from the 1st of October until 25th December 2012-

I spent my whole week reading that letter over and over again while getting fussed by my parents and Melissa to prepare myself for the program. My brothers and sisters had also seemed excited wiith the fact that I was finally getting out of the house.

They were so happy I was going to be away from them for 3 months. You see, me and my siblings never got along so well, but the bond was still there. It was just that we found it fun to bicker around rather than be they typical mushy gushy lovely siblings.

Although we hate each other's guys probably most of the time, I knew I was going to miss them. Apart from me, I knew they would feel the same thing too. We love and hate (mostly hate) each other too much to admit that we actually cared for one another.

Sweet thing was my youngest little sister, Sophie cried when I was leaving the house. I was feeling a little homesick for brief moment there but I brushed it off and we all got into the car. My whole family were sending me to the airport including with my cray cray best friend who was driving herself to the airport.

I was feeling so alive today, from the moment I woke up today, everything was feeling alright. There were moments when I thought I couldn't make it alone, I'd be left with no friends and shits like that, but I tried engaging positive inputs into my brain.

I couldn't even eat breakast today. I tend to starve myself when I'm nervous or excited, you could try putting any kinds of food infront of me, I wouldn't touch it eventhough I'm the type of girl who eats a lot but don't gain any weight.

The whole ride was filled with an awkward but saddening silence. None of us were talking, just the music from the radio blasted filled the atmosphere. The tension was very obvious that they didn't want me to leave but none wanted to admit that so too bad we were too selfish. Oops.

We rushed out of the car as we arrived and my Dad parked the car. I grabbed my luggage and pull it when we started making our way inside the airport. It took me an hour to manage the baggages and some airport stuff.

Right before leaving, I was reading to bid goodbyes to the ones whom waited for me the whole time here. My mom was sobbing a little and I could see my sister's tears falling down her cheek. I knew she was going to miss me eventhough we fought a lot. Literally every single time we faced each other.

I smiled before hugging my family members and finally it was time to leave. The announcement to get on the plane was beaming through the speakers asking the passengers to report at the departure gate. I then turned to the soppy Melissa, she was shedding a few tears which she failedly tried to cover it.

" Don't forget me kay?" She was looking down and I knew she was already crying. I pulled her into a tight hug and chuckled before replying to her dumb question. "What the hell are you crapping about Mels? I will never forget you and It's not like I'm not coming back. It's just for three months and we'll skype everyday okay."

I calmed her down and rubbed her back. She pulled away and I could see tears smudging her makeup. She looked like a freaking godzilla. Lol but I didn't tell her that, she might kill me with her bare hands right there and then.

"No new BFF's kay. I'm the only one !" She finally smiled. I was about to get a little emotional there but I was gonna save it for the long ride on the plane. "I swear on the sexiness of Chris Pine I would never have any new BFF unless you allow me to." I held out my pinky finger, Melissa chuckled at my Chris Pine reference there and we did our little pinky promise.

Well, I couldn't help it. Chris Pine was too hot and I was obsessed with his pair of blue eyes. The announcement was made again, It was time to leave for real now. After my last goodbye, i was finally making my way towards the departing gate.

After settling in, I was seated beside the window as I got on the plane. I was starting to get nervous and had been fidgeting uncomfortably. I didn't realize I was crying until I could feel a prick of tear shedding.

I hate crying. It made me feel so weak and defenseless. I wiped tears off my face and decided to take a nap before arriving on the land of Tennessee. I had to admit, I did have such thoughts  that maybe I would be living with the Follese's since they are living in Franklin.

Even if I wouldn't, the chances of meeting them was high. I started smiling as I had such thoughts. Well, at least something made me wind up the tears away. But I was pretty sure that living with them was an impossible thing. Why would they offer to live with the students on the program anyway?

I decided to ignore the painful facts and took a nap with a playlists of HCR's songs playing on my iPod.

- Arrival -

FINALLY. We landed. Okay the plane did, but whatever. It took us an hour to land because the condition wasn't ideal for landing so we had the aeroplane wandering around the sky. I didn't know what to say when I set my feet on the cold pavement at the airport.

I was kinda speechless at the moment. I was in Tennessee. After going through the security check and the custom gate, I took my check in luggage which was dumped on the belt. After pulling my luggage and started walking towards the arrival gate, I saw a person holding a card with my name.

Dreading my heavy luggage with me and I walked briskly towards that guy. "Hey, Christia. You're kind of late. Everyone's at school already, getting to meet their new parents and you should hurry. You don't wanna make them wait" He said after flashing me smile. My luggage exchanged hands, that anonymous guy was pulling it for me.

"Oh yeah, I know I'm kinda late. Sorry. The flight was having trouble landing so it was delayed for a little while" i explained, not wanting him to get the wrong idea that I might have been some slowpoke city girl.

"Oh yeah, we heard." He smiled again. Apparently that middle-aged guy was very generous with his smiles made me feel better. At least the citizens were friendly, I was scared they would dissed my existence. He took me to his black SUV parked outside and put my luggage into the truck before driving me straight to the school. During the ride, he asked some questions about me and my city to kill some time and the awkwardness.
