It was a normal day in Kamome academy. Hanako and Yashiro were running up the stairs that lead to the rooftop for a surprise that awaits the lovely heroine...
Yashiro: Hanako! Slow down! All this running isn't safe you know! Why are you dragging me here anyway?
Hanako turned to her and gave her a teasing smile
Hanako: Oh, you'll see...
They finally reach the rooftop. Yashiro stopped as she tried to catch her breath. She noticed how oddly foggy it was on the rooftop but didn't think of questioning it. From a distance, she saw a silhouette of what seemed to be a person.
Yashiro: W-what's that?!
She shouted as she was pointing at the silhouette with her trembling knees. Hanako looks at the silhouette and decides to investigate. Yashiro stayed and watched as he was cautiously approaching the figure and poked it out of curiosity causing the figure to collapse. She was shocked and quickly ran up to Hanako and started aggressively shaking him
Yashiro: I thought you were just going to check not knock someone unconscious!!
She stops and immediately feels embarrassed as she looks at the ground to see not an unconscious body but a bunch of junk scattered all over
Yashiro: Ehh? wait, what's going on here??
Hanako: Well it seems like the figure you saw earlier was a fake
Yashiro: wait- so someone set this up? Why would anyone do that?
While she was caught up in her thoughts, Yashiro suddenly felt something crawling up her shoulder. Something that felt like a hand
She yelps and quickly hides behind Hanako for protection. There was someone hiding behind the fog but it was too hard to distinguish who it was. All they could see was the wide and unsettling smile on the person's face.
???: Oh? Honorable number 7? What a pleasant surprise...
Hanako looks at the dark figure in the fog and gives it an unimpressed look
Hanako: Nice to see you too Hoshiko

After that, the fog all around started to disappear and revealed a giggling little girl
Hoshiko: Hahaha got you good! You really should've seen the look on your face number 7, It was priceless!
From what she just witnessed, Yashiro was confused. Does Hanako know this girl? Without even thinking, she jerked her head up and asked
Yashiro: W-wait- Hanako, you know her??
Her sudden interruption caught the new girl's attention and made her approach Yashiro
Hoshiko: I know you said you were bringing someone, but I didn't expect you to bring an angel. So.... What's the name of the lovely lady?
[Yashiro's POV]
I felt a sudden tap on my shoulder and out of instinct, I hid behind Hanako-kun. There was so much fog. All I could see was a shadow and a big... creepy..... smile..
???: Oh? Honorable number 7? What a pleasant surprise....
The shadow greeted Hanako. I thought Hanako would pull out a knife and defend us but the next thing he did was really unexpected..
Hanako: Nice to see you too Hoshiko
Did he just greet the shadow?! What is going on here??? But after he said that, the fog slowly cleared.
The person hiding behind the fog was a girl with light purple hair and pink round eyes. She looked like she's wearing a school uniform with see-through sleeves and a black pleated skirt with a camera around her neck. But something was really odd about her, she has a pair of antennas and a tail with stars at each end. Could she be an apparition?
But I was still wondering, Does Hanako know her?
Yashiro: W-wait- Hanako, you know her??
I accidentally blurted out without thinking. The girl turned to me with her eyes wide open. Maybe speaking up was a bad idea... The girl walks closer and leans toward me
Hoshiko: I know you said you were bringing someone, but I didn't expect you to bring an angel~
I- wait WHAT?! That really caught me off guard...
Hoshiko: So.... What's the name of the lovely lady?
SHE DID IT AGAIN! I should really get myself together. Receiving compliments isn't something I should be stressing over
Yashiro: M-my name is Y-Yashiro Nene but you can call me Yashiro
The girl just looks at me and smiles
Hoshiko: What a cute name! You know you're also really cute when you blush like that Yashiro-san

Why is this girl so nice?? I've never been complimented by a stranger in such a way. Wait a minute... I don't even know her name yet
Yashiro: Oh... uhmm.. t-thank you but what's your name?
Hoshiko: Hm? You haven't heard of me yet? Hmm... number 7 dragged you here without telling you didn't he? How rude..

Hoshiko: I'm Hoshiko-san of the rooftop! I take pictures of the living and the dead! So.. does that answer your question?
