Hello my loves,
I know a lot of you have been asking about the possibility of a trilogy for this Snowbarry sequence.
Like I've mentioned before in the comment section; I am not 100% sure about the future of a trilogy occurring any time soon.
As a writer, it has been an absolutely pleasure getting to develop and grow in my writing abilities. I've been able to see my growth throughout the years I've been creating content on Wattpad. It's cringy to look back on my very first book but it is also very pleasing to see my writer's growth. There is no point of comparison. So I am truly grateful for all I've learned.
However, I have been writing non-stop for 5 years now. Whether it is writing two stories at the same time(don't know how I've managed to do that lol) or just focusing on a single one; I've never stopped writing and it is honestly like a part-time job. It takes serious time to write a single chapter. So imagine having 7 books and have each chapter in the book take at least 1 hour and a half to write. I won't do the math(if any of you want I would appreciate it cuz I'm curious lol) but it is a significant amount of hours.
I obviously have a life outside of Wattpad (believe or not 😂). A lot of things have changed in five years.
I started writing in Wattpad my freshman year in high school. Now, I'm a sophomore in college(and I'm graduating a year earlier so technically a junior).
College is no easy task, and it's been hard to manage it all; but I absolutely love writing; it's one of my favorite hobbies; it's become second nature to me; part of my routine; but I'm not gonna lie and say it hasn't been hard at times. I write because it's fun and I love it; but I've also had to place much necessary boundaries and priorities.
Most Wattpad writers do NOT get paid. I am one of the many. It's crazy to think I'm basically working for free to make Wattpad richer. I'm giving them free content 😂
But it's true. I've never made money from my books. I've tried applying to be a paid writer but I've never heard from Wattpad.
I am not bringing this up to imply this is the reason why I've decided to slow down; but simply to voice out my personal opinion of Wattpad's treatment of writers. Yes, we may be "immature writers" but we are writers making you money nonetheless.
Anyways familia, enough ranting, I've decided to focus more on me and my college career, there is a lot to be done before I'm a college graduate and also finding a job etc. is on my priority list.
Thank you for understanding, and for also being so supportive always. The family I've created here is so uplifting and loving so thank you for everything.
Stay safe and healthy,
Bree! ♥️
