Chapter 23

Kuya doesn't seem faze at all. Instead he just looked at me like it's nothing.

"Let me go.." I said.

"Let her think.."He said ngunit di ako nagpatalo. What would she think? I'm starting to get pissed.

"Think? Satingin mo maiintindihan n'ya ang nakita n'ya ngayon-ngayon lang?" He sighed. Akmang hahawakan n'ya ulit ako nang umiwas ako.

"Just let me go!" Napasigaw ako. Agad akong umalis sa kandungan n'ya. Napatayo rin s'ya.

I didn't mind looking at him. My heart was beating so fast like faster than a horse.

"Shimi!" I called her. Nakita ko s'yang papalabas.

Kinagat ko ang ibabang labi. Pumunta ako roon at agad na lumapit.

Who knows na sa mismong araw na nandito kami ay tyaka n'ya pa malalaman?

"Shimi.." I called her name again.

"I-m sorry.." Dagdag ko. Ako'y nasa likod n'ya.

"Kailan pa, Celestia?" She asked while I'm behind her.

Hindi ako nakasagot.

"Why..what the hell is happening?!" Sigaw n'ya. Agad s'yang humarap sa akin. Her cheeks are red and her eyes are watery. Nakahawak s'ya sa kanyang baba.

Her tears are falling..I mean i didn't expect her to cry. But I expected na magugulat o magagalit s'ya.

"I-i don't..know.." I answered.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She said. I can feel the dissapointment in her voice.

"I was afraid!" i said. Dahil iyon ang totoo. Natatakot ako na mawala s'ya. S'ya lang naman ang kaibigan ko. But I was too afraid to tell her.

"Bullshit. Kaibigan mo ako! Why would you keep things like that in yourself?" aniya. Tears fell into my cheeks. Great! Now we're both crying.

"I-i was afraid, na baka i-judge mo ako. Na baka mag-isip ka ng masama, na you might think it's weird.." Sagot ko.

"Why would you think that? I've known you for years! Yes, I might not agree with you sometimes but it doesn't mean I won't agree completely! I just need a reason!" She answered back.

"But the hell.. I didn't even notice this.." She added. At tumingin sa akin. Napaiwas ako ng tingin at umiyak.

"I'm shock, you know?" She said. After that she hugged me. Niyakap ko rin s'ya pabalik. 

"I'm sorry.." I said as i sob. Humigpit ang yakap n'ya.

"When did it start?" She asked.

"When he came here.." I said. But the truth is..its just pure lust before. It started when he came here.

"You're aware na p'wedeng mapa-alis si kuya Lucas, hindi ba?" I nodded. Kumalas na kami sa isa't isa.

"You're aware that he got some girls out there lining up?" She asked. I nodded again.

"I'm shock. Ni hindi ko nga nahalata na ganito na pala." Kinagat ko ang labi at hinawakan ang kamay n'ya.

"I'm sorry. Yes I am planning to tell you, but not now. Not in a place like this. Now in this time. Kaya hindi ko rin alam ang gagawin nang malaman mo." I said. Tinignan lamang n'ya ako at tumango.
