Sticky Note

It has been a week since school started and here I am walking lazily along the noisy hallway of my beloved school.

"Good morning, Bianca!" Elijah greeted me with full enthusiasm. Elijah is my "brother" here in school, we've been friends since we were 7th graders and now here we are, nakayanan hanggang 12th grade.

"Good morning, 'lijah." I greeted back and smiled.

"Tara na sa room? 15 minutes nalang before mag-time." he said. I just said 'ok' then off we go.

When we entered the room it was still deserted, there are only 5 students around who are either reading or playing with their phones. We both went into our designated seats, 3 desks ang pagitan namin.

As I was approaching my desk I saw a book, a very familiar book that I wanted to have eversince it was released!

"Oh my gosh, The First Date by Krista McGee!" I said with so much excitement. Goodness, this book is very hard to find!

But wait, sino kaya ang nakaiwan nito?

"Elijah, look!" I called his attention and showed him the book, he quickly went near me when he saw what I was holding.

"Oh, kanino yan? Saiyo? Ang tagal mo ng hinahanap niyan ah, buti nakabili ka na? Nice!" he said.

"Well, newsflash! This is not mine, I just saw it here on my desk." I told him. Aww, too bad I wish this is mine! Hay.

"Oh? Eh kanino yan?" I just shrugged coz I really don't know.

I looked around and saw Patricia tapping away with her phone (I bet all my allowance that she's playing Tap Titans!)

"Pat!" I called her, she looked at me while still tapping. Confirmed, she's playing that addicting game again.

"Yes, beautiful sister?" she asked.

"Kanina ka pa dito?" she just nodded as a response. Maybe she knows kung sino yung nakaiwan ng book.

"Alam mo ba kung kanino to?" I asked as I raised the book to show her.

"Ah, yup! Dinala siya dito ni Amos." she answered.

"Amos? As in Amos the lead guitarist of The Amorphous?" I asked the both of them.

"Yup, siya nga. He put it there kanina before I came palabas na siya nung papasok ako ng room." she said.

"Ah, okay. Thanks!"

I just sat down at examined the book, gosh I want to read badly!

Maybe I can read it naman, kahit konti lang. Hehe. A little peek won't hurt!

I opened the book and saw a pink sticky note on the first page.
"Hi, Bianca! This is your favorite book right but you still don't have one? So here, sayo nalang. Read it w/ ur eyeglasses on okay? :) A."

Wait, what? Sino yung A na'to? And how did he knew that I love this book? A? A? A? For Amos?

But why did he gave me this book? Ano yun, trip niya lang? Then, may heart pa sa note? He can't be that A guy because he's my cousin for crying out loud! Yuck, incest!

Pero, goodness!Akin na tong TFD? Waaaaaaah! Heaven!

I continued to think about that A guy. Who could he be? Ugh. Tsk.

I decided to just think about it later I carefully placed the book, well my book because A gave it to me, in my backpack because right now I have a Math quiz to perfect.
