So during their fight over the large crystal that brought Mabushina to earth, he secretly took some of his DNA to analyze later. After the Kirameigers defeated the Jamen, he retreated to a quiet corner in the base to examine the DNA. To his surprise, he was able to see that the sample contained small amounts of crystal fragments. That could only mean...NO! That was impossible! He had eliminated the prince years ago and there was no way he could still be alive. Let alone be Kiramet red. Right?
