I highly recommend you read their one-shot The truth, it's not meant to be, which gave me the inspiration to write this 'sequel' one-shot of sorts, and for which the author has so graciously given their blessing to do so, despite not having seen it yet (i hope i did their story justice!).
Of course, you may choose not to read their one-shot before reading mine, but theirs gives context and a better picture of Chaelisa's romance than mine for sure so....up to you :P
How did this come about in the midst of trying to keep up with other fics, ideas and real life stuff?
Very simply, I loved their interpretation of the fallen angel/ star-crossed lovers trope to the point that I kept going back and re-reading and wishing to know more about how Chaelisa's story continued.
Thus, I took to writing something that I hope could be deemed worthy of a spiritual successor to the first part. In essence, I wrote a fanfic of a fanfic :P
