Very quiet
Both of us didn't even utter a word
Jaemin sat on the floor with his hands on his head while I'm just staring at him
Feeling sorry for him
Both of us still waiting to get any notice from the doctor in charge
" Jeno" I turned my gaze to the source of the voice and saw Irene's walking towards us with Mark hyung
" H-how is she?" She asked with her red glossy eyes and I sighed
" Still haven't heard anything.. it's been two hours now" I said
" What happened?" Mark hyung whispered to me then I looked to Jaemin who didn't even move a muscle
" Irene, can you wait here with Jaemin? I'm going to talk to Mark hyung in a bit. And maybe some snacks for him " I said and she nodded
...
" Well not surprising" he spoke and I nodded
He took a sip from his coffee and I sighed
" I thought of to make some sort of report" I said and he hummed
" Well I bet you can't make to put her in jail because you know she got- FLEX" Mark hyung spoke and I sighed
" This is all messed up" I said
" I don't know what the hell is going on because all I do is try to keep secrets from Jaemin then this thing happens" he said
" I didn't know this would come. I mean- MinYoung didn't tell me anything if Joy ever said something to her" I said
" But I assumed that this thing happened because something triggered Joy" he said
" Well, Jaemin told her to sign a paper for a divorce"
" Okay well that's just... Just... Will go wrong" he said and I nodded
" Wait- but you said MinYoung didn't tell anything to you?" He asked
" Well, I kind of bumped into her in the Starbucks cafe not far away from Jaemin's company and that she told me about it. So I followed her when she left a few minutes before. I do saw Joy just got out from the building so I went to check up on her"
" And that's when I saw Jaemin kind of forcing her on something and that I just... Acted like I'm her boyfriend?" I said
" Oh no wonder I saw blood here" Mark hyung said and he pointed to my lips
" Yeah and.. Jaemin got mad so we kind of fought a bit. Later, we found of someone sent a message to MinYoung which I assume that it was Joy"
" Jaemin went out to look for her then I followed behind after. They were on the street and a car sped up when the lights were red and that's when..."
" I got you Jeno.. you don't have to say it" he said and I sighed
" Let's get back. Jaemin might need something to eat" I said and he nodded

" The doctor said that she didn't hit her head hard but she lost a lot of blood. It might take a while for her to wake up but it won't take her for too long" Irene explained and I nodded
I looked to the room where MinYoung's had been placed in
" I'm just glad she's fine" I said and she smiled sadly
" I didn't dare to go in. I just thought that maybe Jaemin wants to be there with her in a while" she said
" It's almost 1 in the morning though. When are you leaving?" She asked
" I need to ask Jaemin to come home too. Otherwise, he would be staying there all night" I said
" Then we'll leave first yeah?" She asked and I nodded
" I'll tell others if they want to pay a visit later" Mark hyung said and I nodded
" I'll see you later Jeno. You'll visit her again right?" Irene asked
" Of course. See you tomorrow" I said and she nodded

I slowly open the door after Mark hyung and Irene left home. Jaemin didn't even spare a glance and didn't move from the seat when I got in
I sighed as I walked slowly towards him
" Hey Jaem.." I spoke as I put my hand on his shoulder
Still, he didn't even budge
" It's uh... Getting late. Don't you want to go home-"
" This is all my fault" his voice cracked
" Come on Jaemin... It's not your fault" I said and he scoffed
" You're just saying that to make me feel better" he said
" You need rest. I'm sure MinYoung wouldn't want to see you like this right? You can visit her later" I said and he heaved a deep sigh
" Fine..." I heard him muttered then he stood up from the chair
I looked to MinYoung who got a bandage on her forehead, few cuts on her face and probably more on her body
" Have you contact her parents?" I asked him
" I don't have their phone number" he said
" Well maybe you know the password for her phone?" I asked and he shook his head
" She didn't put a password at first and then I told her to put it on so yeah. I guess we just have to figure out about that" he said and I nodded
" And uh... Sorry for punching you" he said and I smiled at him then punch his shoulder
" Ouw! What the-"
" At least I get to punch back for once" I said making both of us chuckled
" That hurt, stupid" he said
" Yeah, I know. Let's go home. We might don't want to get sick after running in the rain" I said and he nodded
