"Hey, Tris I'm home." Tobias said closing the door behind him. "Wow, I love what you've done with the place, Tobias." A lady's voice says from behind him. "Who's that?" I shout from inside the kitchen. Who could he possibly invite over? "It's Evelyn." He says coming inside the kitchen. I stare at Evelyn in shock. I thought she was dead. Why would he invite her over? How did he find her? "Hi Evelyn, welcome." I say, faking a smile.

The next morning I'm watching Evelyn cook breakfast. "What's that?" I ask, pointing to a small bottle next to all of the spices. "Oh, just a special ingredient." She says with a smile. There is something behind that smile and I just can't figure it out yet. "I don't think you need that many spices for bacon." I say. She shakes her head. "Don't worry, sweetheart, it will be the best you have ever tasted." I nod my head, but I don't agree with her. Later, she puts three strips of bacon on my plate. I eat it slowly. It doesn't taste any different. Once I'm done I sit on the couch and relax. Tobias sits down next to me. Suddenly, I start to feel weird. My stomach hurts a lot. "Tris, are you okay? You look sick." Tobias says. "M-my stomach hurts like hell." I say. "Maybe it was the food." He implies. The bacon Evelyn made. I was the only one who ate it. And now I have a stomach ache that seems like it could last forever.
